Scott (0:23)

Hey team, welcome back to the movies, right? How the hell are you?

Ryan (0:30)

What's happening, Hoops?

Scott (0:32)

We're going to be talking about a bunch of new movies and shows, including Tom Cruise's latest movie, Digger, which is setting all sorts of box office records. I think it made eight hundred seventy nine billion dollars over the weekend.

Ryan (0:45)

Mike loved it, actually. Right, Mike?

Mike (0:47)

We can save this. Don't don't do that.

SPEAKER_4 (0:49)

No, you don't want to go right in.

Ryan (0:51)

No, yes. And right out of the gate, just cutting me off at the knees.

Mike (0:54)

We were off last week.

Ryan (0:55)

We were. Everybody in the room is sick. You will probably hear it in our voices. We are all on the mend. If you're worried, I thought I was dying. I didn't, unfortunately, but you know, you're dying. I really didn't feel good. I went to visit a client of mine in the emergency room and got to jump the line, which is nice. Thank you, Jim.

And they checked me for everything.

Fine. So I'm like, OK, then what is it?

Mike (1:19)

When a man your age gets sick and serious.

Ryan (1:21)

Honestly, I thought this might be my last week on Earth.

Scott (1:25)

They came in to read you your last rights.

Mike (1:27)

You texted me. You individually texted me that you were dying several times.

Scott (1:33)

I take it off thread. That's when you know it's serious.

Ryan (1:35)

I think I watched six seasons of The Office. I was at like season three when the illness began.

Scott (1:40)

That's the sickest thing I've ever heard you say. Yeah, I think you've been, I'm going to diagnose you with regular guy syndrome, and we need to cure this.

Ryan (1:50)

I also tried to start a Boy Meets World rewatch. Oh, turns out it's aged horribly.

Mike (1:55)

Show's for children, Ryan.

Scott (1:57)

Get that shit out of here. It's for everyone.

Ryan (1:59)

We can't all just rewatch The West Wing.

Scott (2:01)

Yes. I actually do. That show's for children.

Ryan (2:04)

You're going to say you did.

Mike (2:04)

Last Sunday, I did throw it on.

Ryan (2:06)

Show's for no one. And what else did I try?

Scott (2:09)

I love that, yeah, when you're sick, you go to weird places with your watching. You do. And I'm glad that yours took you to BMW.

Mike (2:19)

And I went to West Wing.

Scott (2:20)

Yes, you were in seclusion in the West Wing. My sickness took me to some fucked up places too.

Ryan (2:28)

What else did I? Oh, I also started New Girl, which is a fun rewatch.

Scott (2:32)

Who's that girl? I hate this song.

Ryan (2:36)

Does the song change toward the end?

Scott (2:37)

It's nice and brief.

Mike (2:38)

What's that song you like by Danity Kane? You say it's our cut?

Ryan (2:42)

No, that's not Danity Kane. It's the other of those ladies.

Scott (2:47)

Danny Crane. No, Danny Crane. I like that you guys have a song.

Mike (2:53)

I think that's a reveal.

Scott (2:54)

We don't.

SPEAKER_5 (2:54)

It's like, that's my thing.

Mike (2:56)

He said like Hot 5 or something. What the fuck band is that?

Ryan (3:01)

It's going to kill me.

Mike (3:02)

He texts it to me all the time and it says like our cut. I'm like, no, it isn't.

Ryan (3:05)

It comes up.

SPEAKER_4 (3:06)

That's your guy's song a lot.

Ryan (3:08)

You know what else comes up on Shuffle? They just shuffled it back into theaters is Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis. It's back.

Mike (3:15)

He never sold it to a streaming company.

Scott (3:16)

Yes, I think they're re releasing it so we can reclaim the highest grossing movie of all time over Avengers Endgame and Avatar.

Mike (3:26)

You know, that movie ruined him, Scott.

Scott (3:28)

Well, I mean, I think it's fine. It's all his money. He's super rich from his wine.

Mike (3:36)

Not his companies. Yeah.

Scott (3:38)

So I'm glad that I think more people like him should spend their entire fortune on a misfire of a turkey that we can watch. No. I put it on a work one day and I kind of just walked away from it. It's crazy, though. It's like a weird, wild turkey.

Ryan (3:52)

My favorite is that he and Shia LaBeouf hated each other and there was like a ton of turmoil on set. And then like six weeks ago, Francis Ford Coppola posted on Instagram like a picture of Shia and he was like, a talented young man. He was great to work with. It's like, what are you doing here? I don't think getting us ready for this.
