It's the Musk versus Altman lawsuit. Musk has sued OpenAI for $100 billion.

Dave Blundin (0:05)

I kind of figured behind the scenes, they don't actually hate each other. These guys actually hate each other to the extreme.

Peter Diamandis (0:14)

OpenAI is valued at 70 times revenues right now. Their last raise was at $852 billion valuation. These numbers are insane.

Dave Blundin (0:23)

It's like nothing we've ever seen. And the timeline is so much shorter than we've ever seen before.

Peter Diamandis (0:28)

$3 billion a day being invested.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (0:31)

No one said the Singularity was going to be cheap.

Dave Blundin (0:34)

No one's being honest about this. If you take a random white collar worker today, what are the odds that that randomly selected job can be replaced two years from today? We told you already that AI will be able to do everything that a white collar worker does imminently. That's a fact.

Now that's a Moonshot, ladies and gentlemen. I had so much fun this morning.

Peter Diamandis (1:01)

What happened this morning?

Dave Blundin (1:03)

I got Alex the, was supposed to run a panel.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (1:06)

Handing over the torch to Dave to moderate a panel.

Dave Blundin (1:09)

I moderated it. I had to wing it, which is so fun because I have no accountability whatsoever and I can ask anything I want and it was the most fun ever.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (1:18)

A lot of Moonshots fans there.

Dave Blundin (1:20)

Huge. Yeah, probably what, 40, 50% of the crowd, something like that.

Peter Diamandis (1:25)

Hopefully 100% after you guys finished.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (1:27)

I did probably seven or eight panels by the end of it and the first time I pulled, I would say maybe 80% of the audience watched Moonshots.

Peter Diamandis (1:36)

Nice. All right. You guys psyched? You guys ready?

Alexander Wissner-Gross (1:40)

Ready to talk our own book, Peter.

Peter Diamandis (1:41)

All right. Let's do this thing. Everybody, welcome to Moonshots, another episode of WTF here with my extraordinary Moonshot mates, DB2, our Emperor of exponential investments. Good to see your outfits there. You must have a whole set.

Dave Blundin (1:56)

It's funny. The team just drops them on a chair here and says, we got four choices for you. What do you want?

Peter Diamandis (2:01)

Lobsters and DB. One of the things I like, coming out of the abundance summit, I have all of my wear. Here's my powered by Moonshots, powered by gratitude. I don't have to think anymore in the morning.

Dave Blundin (2:13)

There are like 20 of those. Are you going to cycle through all of them?

Peter Diamandis (2:16)

I am.

Dave Blundin (2:16)

There's some really funny ones.

Peter Diamandis (2:18)

I am, yeah, for sure. And our resident genius, Alex Wissner-Gross, AWG.

Good to see you, pal.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (2:25)

Wide awake.

Peter Diamandis (2:26)

You know, I know you didn't sleep last night.

Dave Blundin (2:28)

Wide variety of wardrobe on Alex, too, there.

Peter Diamandis (2:31)

Oh my God. And we pulled Salim off the ski slopes again.

Salim Ismail (2:36)

Salim? Yeah, I grew the beer to protect against the sun, but nothing protects against you guys.

Alexander Wissner-Gross (2:44)

You're well positioned, Salim, to lecture the world on UBI post-ski slips.

Peter Diamandis (2:50)

You know, this is the most fun I have all week. And I spent probably the better part of 12 hours prepping for the show today, just going through all of the notes that we've all submitted, all the work that Jean, Luca and Dana and Nick did. So thank you to them. And for everybody watching, this is our chance to give you some optimistic visions of the future. What's going on in exponential tech and AI.

We are the number one podcast in AI and optimistic visions of the future. Welcome to WTF, Just Happen in Tech.

Gentlemen, it's good to be back on a recording basis twice a week every week. And yeah, so, so much. So this is our second catch up show after our hiatus for spring break. And let's jump in first. This was my spring break by popular demand photos.

So this is the native wear in Morocco. That outfit is a gelava and the head, the headwear just to protect against the sun. We went camel riding, riding in the family. It was amazing.

Dave Blundin (4:02)

You know, camels spit, they don't bite, but they spit, you shouldn't really stick your head right there.

Peter Diamandis (4:08)

I think camel is eating my headset in that image. All right, let's move on. But Morocco was amazing. The Sahara Desert was extraordinary. You know, looking at the Sahara Desert, there are more, there's about a thousand times more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the deserts on earth. Just to put the size of the universe in perspective, it's extraordinary.
