**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:00)
Let's get started. You know, we wanted to try something new this week. Every week, you know, I get a little upset, things perturb me, Sacks. And when it does, I just yell and scream, Disgracia! And so I bought the domain name disgracia.com for no reason other than my own amusement. But you know what? I'm not alone in my absolute disgust at what's going on in the world. So this week, we're going to bring out a new feature here on the All-In Podcast, Disgracia.
**Jason Calacanis** (0:32)
Disgracia! What about the people he murdered?
**David Sacks** (0:37)
What murder?
**Elon Musk** (0:42)
He's just killed a little man.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:44)
He insulted him a little bit.
**Jason Calacanis** (0:46)
I'm smart and I want to stick.
**David Friedberg** (0:49)
Your hair was in the toilet water. Disgusting.
**David Sacks** (0:52)
I had to suffocate you, you little.
**SPEAKER_6** (0:53)
It's a disgrace.
**Jason Calacanis** (0:58)
Disgracia.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:59)
Disgracia.
**David Friedberg** (1:01)
This is fantastic.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:02)
This is our new feature. Chamath, you look like you're ready to go. Why don't you tell everybody who gets your Disgracia this week?
**David Friedberg** (1:12)
Wait, we all had to come with a Disgracia?
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:16)
You missed a memo. All right, fine. Enough.
**David Friedberg** (1:19)
I got one. I got one.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:20)
Okay, all right, just calm down.
**David Friedberg** (1:21)
My Disgracia corner goes to Jason Calacanis.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:24)
Oh, here we go.
**David Friedberg** (1:25)
Come on, man, you can't. And Pete Buttigieg, where they in the first 30 seconds of the interview, compared virtue signaling points about how each one worked at various moments at Amnesty International.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:38)
Absolutely.
**David Friedberg** (1:39)
Literally affecting zero change, making no progress in the world, but collecting a badge that they used to hold over other people.
**David Sacks** (1:46)
Disgracia.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:47)
We wrote a lot of letters.
**David Sacks** (1:48)
We wrote a lot of letters.
**David Friedberg** (1:49)
Disgracia. Which is good.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:50)
That means it's like a good one because it's behind the scenes. Disgracia.
**David Friedberg** (1:53)
Jason Calacanis and Pete Buttigieg. Disgracia. Great.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:56)
I'm glad that I got the first one. And you can imagine what's coming next week for you. I saw the Sydney Sweeney dress today trending on social. Disgracia. It's too much. It's too much.
**David Friedberg** (2:10)
What is it? I didn't I don't even know what this is.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:11)
You didn't see it. Nick, pull up a picture.
**David Sacks** (2:13)
OK, bring it up.
**Nick** (2:14)
It's a little floppy.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:15)
Que el vestito es propo.
**David Sacks** (2:17)
How is this disgracia? What are you talking about?
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:19)
Much. It's disgraceful. A little bit like look at this. Oh my God. Too much. Too much. In my day, Sacks, a little cleavage maybe perhaps in the 90s or 2000s, some side view. This is too much.
**SPEAKER_6** (2:34)
Hey guys.
**Jason Calacanis** (2:38)
Pretty highbrow subject matter. Yeah.
**David Sacks** (2:41)
We were discussing the role politics and then Sydney Sweeney dressed.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:48)
I don't know who's trending on X.
**David Sacks** (2:50)
Hi, Dad.
**Jason Calacanis** (2:50)
Put away the phone, Jason.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (3:10)
What's going on with the algorithm? I'm getting Sydney Sweeney's dress all day, and last week, Sacks...
**Jason Calacanis** (3:15)
Well, maybe you should stop favoriting it.
**Chamath Palihapitiya** (3:18)
I've been favoriting it 15 times. Poor Sacks got invited to SlutCon for two weeks straight on the algorithm.
**Nick** (3:27)
No, I say the algorithm has become... If you demonstrate...
**David Sacks** (3:31)
Sacks will explain.
**Jason Calacanis** (3:32)
You can't even tell if that's a joke or a real thing.
**David Sacks** (3:34)
It's a real thing in San Francisco.
**Nick** (3:36)
It's all too real.
**Jason Calacanis** (3:37)
It's actually f***ing real. Wait, SlutCon is a real thing?
**Nick** (3:41)
For real? Yeah, if you demonstrate interest in anything on X now, if you click on it, God forbid you like something, man, the algorithm is on it. It will give you more of that. It will give you a lot more.
**Elon Musk** (3:55)
Yes, yes. So we did have an issue.
We still have somewhat of an issue where there was an important bug that was figured out that was solved over the weekend, which caused in-network posts to be not shown. Basically, if you followed someone, you wouldn't see their posts. It's obviously a big bug, a major bug. Then, the algorithm was not probably taking into account if you just dwelt on something. But if you interacted with it, it would go hog wild. So as David said, if you would have favored, reply or engage with it in some way, it is going to give you a torrent of that same thing.
