Hi everyone, JJ here. Welcome back to The Lounge. Well, I've been making a short series of videos on the upcoming documentary Musk, which has just premiered at the Venice Film Festival to a standing ovation and rave reviews. I think Elon is not happy about it. He's railing against it on eggs, of course.

I think he knows what's in it, but he hasn't seen it. And now one of the people in the documentary, his ex, Ashley St. Clair, has been talking about some of the revelations that she made in it, which Elon Musk has said is lies, but apparently she has the receipts and she has proved it on this podcast with Jennifer Welch. So I just want to react to a little bit of this. It's 40 minutes and I highly recommend watching it. I'll put a link in the description, but let's see what they're talking about here. One of them is the NDA that she mentioned, a $40 million NDA to not say anything about Elon and what she knows and she refused. Elon said she was never offered that.

And he had some things to say to you about you on Twitter, the mother of one of his children. And let's pop this up. TMZ says Ashley St. Clair says she rejected Elon Musk's $40 million NDA. And Elon Musk responds to that tweet and says she was never offered that and has a history of making claims.

So here she apparently has the receipts to back it up, which she has provided to various people, including Jennifer Welch, to verify that what she's saying was true, that there was a contract sent. So is Elon lying? Did he not know? Of course he would know, right? This is a big deal. He was not going to spend or try to spend $40 million if he didn't know about this.

So the father of your child is going after you on Twitter, is clearly triggered by this. And you have not responded to this publicly yet until now. And what do you have to say about this? Do you have a history of making claims?

Ashley St. Clair (3:07)

No, and I think that's a very serious accusation. I am in law school. I am going to have to pass the character and fitness test for the bar. I think that is a very serious allegation to make, but I have a history of claims, which I do not, and I don't plan on letting that slide lightly.

Now, in terms of claims, people may point out in the comments that she was a MAGA influencer, which she was. She was in the cult and she was told to say things. She talks about this in another interview recently that she had with Don Lemon. I'm not going to talk about that today, maybe another time, but she is really regretful about what she said. And I mean, she believed the things that she was saying, so not necessarily claims, but she was told to go in a certain direction. But that's a different thing than just lying blatantly like Elon says she's doing here.
