Elevenlabs MCP + GPT-6 Astra + Hermes is WILD!

Elevenlabs just dropped a brand new MCP that comes with voice, music, image, and video generation in Elevenlabs.

And this is pretty amazing. So far I've tested it out, it kind of feels like Higgs field a little bit, but it's super easy to set up. And also I know a lot of people are using Elevenlabs already, plus you can have your own sort of custom systems built in. So for example, I can plug in my voice, I can create like amazing vertical videos, as well as long form too, as you can see right here. The quality is super nice when you're using this too. So it looks incredible when you're opening up. And it was super easy to connect inside a system like this. So basically in the space of five, 10 minutes, I'll be dropping my own sort of studio built out, where I can generate video or voice or music or sound effects, whatever I want. So I wanna talk through exactly what it is, how it works, et cetera, and how to use it. The first thing that you wanna do is just get an API key from Elevenlabs, if you don't have that already. If you want to generate the API key, you can just make sure you have an account with Elevenlabs, and then you just go to the settings and get an API key. Once you've done that, then you can basically plug this into any AI agent that you want. So the cool thing about an MCP is that it basically connects with all of your favorite AI agents, such as GPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Gropbar, Hermes, and you got not just the MCP, but also the CLI, so you can switch between them and choose whichever one you want.

When I was setting it up, it was super simple. So let me show you an example of how I set it up using Astra 6 You can use it however you want, so you could combine it with Hermes or ChatGPT, whatever you prefer. If you want to see an example, this is basically how we did it. So I said, can you add Elevenlabs MCP as a tab inside the video agent of the agent OS, and also create some insane league of videos and examples inside the two videos, etc. Make sure it's fully working, create a guide for example videos. That's at the point we're at now where it's just like you give it the documentation, you give the AI agent API key, which I did earlier in the message, and that's basically it. That's how we create this tool. And then if we scroll down now, you can see that it created it, right? So it can create it in 4K as well. So the quality of the videos is super nice. You can have images as well with this. It stores the key privately, the API key, and then the MCP itself is like super easy to set up. So actually created this full guide about it as well.

And then as we scroll down here, and so can you just build out some more amazing videos inside the Elevenlabs section. So we can actually get Astra 6 or any of your AI agents to use this directly. And that's basically it. That's how easy it was. So if we go over here now, we go inside the Agent OS tab. It's pretty cool because we've got basically a full video studio. So we've got like the director section here where I can use HN API with my AI agents, describe what I want, it can edit it and create it as you can see right here. And then also we've got a motion designer. So this is using Astra 6 and a combination of re-motion to create like amazing videos, example right here. So this is really cool for animations and that sort of thing. But then also we can go into Elevenlabs here. And the videos that I create, they also show as a preview inside the hero bar. So the design is super clean. We've got the MCP details over here, and we have the full guide to it as well. And then as we scroll down, we can select, okay, do we want to make a video, a voice, music, sound effects, et cetera. The other thing that blew me away was how quick and easy it is to do. And then we can select how long we want the duration to be. So right now the video duration is eight seconds. So it's pretty short. But I think actually you can extend that. So you can see here on the plans what you get based on the number of videos and everything else, which is pretty cool.
