Welcome, everyone, to another episode of the Adeptus Ridiculous Podcast. My name is DK Diamantes, accompanied as always by Bricky, but this time, oh, we've got a special guest. It's Hal, TheAmberKing. Hello, Hal.

Hal (0:29)

Hey, we're back, baby. Back, baby.

SPEAKER_3 (0:33)

Hey, wait, you sound like you're smiling, Hal.

Hal (0:36)

Knock that smile. I'm in the depths of absolute delirium. The Inquisition is at my door.

SPEAKER_3 (0:42)

No, no, no, no, no. We're talking about the dude who can't smile. You got to put that away.

Hal (0:46)

Okay, okay. Let's lock in.

Wait, he's the dude who can't smile? A bit too serious.

DK Diamantes (0:52)

How dare you smile?

Hal (0:54)

I like Warhammer. I'm always having a good time. We get paid to...

DK Diamantes (0:56)

It's a grim, dark setting, Hal. No smiling.

SPEAKER_3 (1:00)

It's great. I love Warhammer.

Hal (1:02)

It's great.

SPEAKER_3 (1:04)

Hal, are you getting any custodies?

Hal (1:07)

I am not. I'm a filthy Thousand Sons player still, but now I've decided to...

DK Diamantes (1:11)

Let's go, Hal. We love to hear it. Thousand Sons, let's go.

Hal (1:17)

Yeah, we got destroyed in the last slate. Thanks, GW. Thank you. That's okay.

DK Diamantes (1:21)

I don't play the tabletop. I just think they look neat.

SPEAKER_3 (1:24)

You kind of deserved it a little bit.

Hal (1:27)

True. True, but it still hurts.

DK Diamantes (1:30)

It does hurt.

Hal (1:31)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_3 (1:32)

Dude, the new Stodys, I feel so vindicated. I'm like, I'm going to buy these Custodys for a painting project because they look amazing and awesome.

And then I get them and I'm like, oh, they're really good and their rules are awesome. I'm such a winner. Hey, Megs.

Hal (1:49)

Yeah.

DK Diamantes (1:50)

Wait, Sisters of Battle got leaked for Darktide DLC? Did it?

SPEAKER_3 (1:54)

Oh, wait, hold on. That's more than just a Sister of Battle. That's a Sister Novitiate. That makes sense.

Hal (2:01)

People definitely guessed at this. Yeah.

DK Diamantes (2:05)

I mean, where else are you going to go as far as Darktide is concerned? You got your Skitari, which I was happily surprised that we got that. So yeah, Sisters, yeah.

I wasn't sure we were going to get Sisters because we're getting awful close to like, oh, hey, look, we put in a minor Space Marine. But I guess not really. Like Sisters is fine for Darktide.

Hal (2:28)

That will be awesome to play, I think. Yeah. It's so cool because they are awesome. So looking forward to it.

SPEAKER_3 (2:37)

Yeah.

DK Diamantes (2:38)

If the Skitari are not off bounds, then surely Sisters are fine.

SPEAKER_3 (2:43)

Well, I guess my only thing is like, we had a sister already. It was the Zealot, you know?

Hal (2:51)

Oh yeah, kind of.

SPEAKER_3 (2:53)

So it was almost a little bit of like, well, we already had their, because obviously a Zealot is different than a sister, but they clearly were like, hey, we don't have a sister, so the Zealot is as close as you're going to get. Yeah. But I don't know. I'm okay with a sister being shy. I know you're talking about the boots on the ground, the trooper type thing, but that looks like a novitiate. A sister novitiate is like a sister in training.

So I'm okay with that because they don't have normal power armor. Also, if you have a Skatari, that's already above the level of the Harisman.

DK Diamantes (3:26)

Yeah. Once the Skatari became available, well, then yeah, a sister in training is not completely unheard of, right? Or even just like a sister Kirioth is kind of...

SPEAKER_3 (3:39)

It is power creeping. You're not wrong. It is power creeping.

I just still like it.

DK Diamantes (3:46)

It's also just really cool.

SPEAKER_3 (3:48)

If we get a Space Marine, yes. If we get a Space Marine Scout, then I'll agree with you. If we get a Space Marine Scout, then I'll agree with you.

Hal (3:56)

I mean, it's like four people versus a thousand guys. Already like a delusional power fantasy anyway, surely.

SPEAKER_3 (4:04)

It is a little goofy.

DK Diamantes (4:06)

That these rejects are actually able to do what they're doing is kind of crazy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_3 (4:12)

Yeah, but whatever. Abelard and the Thunder Hammer kills God and Road Traders so fucking whatever.

DK Diamantes (4:17)

Yeah, true enough.

Hal (4:20)

My husband.

DK Diamantes (4:21)

Abelard, cut off their air.

SPEAKER_3 (4:25)

Abelard restricts their breathing with your penis.

DK Diamantes (4:30)

Oh my.

Hal (4:30)

Oh my. Oh my.
