Anyway, so the deal of the week, I got 7 avocados for roughly $0.40.
I paid 140 local grants, it's about 5 euros or so for 7 avocados. I'm so happy.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:14)
Big ones or little ones?
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (0:17)
Yes, yes, no, no. And they were perfectly ripe, so not like green, hard stuff that you usually buy in the shop.
**SPEAKER_3** (0:30)
Yeah, nice.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:32)
Yeah, I don't think I've bought much stuff or anything that has been cheap. We just went to a nice sushi place because Lisa's cousin is helping us with the house. I told you, right, we're buying an apartment. And he's an architect, so he's doing designs, he's talking to the constructor and helping us decide certain things. So we put him and the wife lunch, but he chose one of the most expensive places, but the nicest places. It was not actually too bad for four people, and two bottles of wine and the dessert and sushi, which is always expensive.
So we didn't save a lot of money in the last few weeks.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:25)
You need to start the pumping up the school of yours.
**SPEAKER_3** (1:29)
Yeah.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:31)
How many students do you have?
**SPEAKER_2** (1:34)
I have zero students, zero everything.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:39)
How many students will you have next weekend?
**SPEAKER_2** (1:43)
Still zero. I have so little time even just to do stuff.
It's like, yeah, it's not even...
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (1:55)
That's the spirit. So is it mostly your time goes to the preparation of the wedding?
**SPEAKER_2** (2:04)
Just everything else. Yeah, it's just, you know, there's times when I need to go tomorrow to church again to find if there's a course I can do or we can do together, then, you know, just walking Lola and working and then freelance and then having some, a little bit of time off in the evening, like half an hour, an hour. It's very hard to find the time.
So, well, the apartment, I need to go on Tuesday tomorrow as well to see the apartment because we need to get the kitchen. We need to start buying things and getting at some point we need to, I need to put the, what's it called, the mortgage to buy, to pay the house. So yeah, it's just a lot of other stuff. Yeah, I was doing some interviews and I was starting the process of to come to interview processes and I was like, no, even though this one sound actually pretty good and one sound okay. I just like said, no, I can't really. No point because even if I magically start working, starting a new job is always consuming a lot of energy, need to be really prepared and paying attention and learning a lot of new things here at the moment and for the wearer. I know what I need to do and I can do it easily. So.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:38)
Yeah, well, sounds exhausting.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (3:42)
And like a lot of stuff, but like it's huge, huge event.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:46)
Yeah, exactly.
A lot of people are gonna come over from my grandma from Ecuador, maybe my aunt from Sydney, Australia. But it will be nice to see everybody, for sure.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (4:31)
So you plan not to work or work on your company until the wedding?
**SPEAKER_2** (4:42)
Yeah, I don't know.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (4:43)
Or is it just now?
**SPEAKER_2** (4:45)
I just want to hopefully, maybe once the house, like it's, I don't know, it's going to get easier once the building starts, and maybe it's even not going to worse.
But I don't know. Once we decide the big stuff, like the kitchen and some stuff, and people maybe start working, and then we just need to check things are working as we told them, not we need to decide things. And maybe that's okay. A bit more time.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (5:19)
And this is the house or the apartment?
**SPEAKER_2** (5:23)
The apartment. Yeah, it's a two-bedroom apartment.
**SPEAKER_3** (5:27)
Okay.
**SPEAKER_2** (5:28)
One bathroom.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (5:28)
Is it in Malaga?
**SPEAKER_3** (5:30)
Yeah.
**SPEAKER_2** (5:31)
It's seven minutes from the beach, seven minutes from where we are now. It's nice.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (5:37)
Not too bad.
**SPEAKER_2** (5:38)
It's not as nice where we are now. This is even more posh. But I think it has some potential, and it's not far from anything, so it's a good area.
**Gianfranco Palumbo** (5:52)
Why did you decide to settle in Malaga specifically?
**SPEAKER_2** (5:57)
I don't know. We like it here.
And we see ourselves here for many years, multiple years, so... And it seems that we definitely got a good price, so it would be nice to live here for a while and also not to keep moving in one way.
