Oh, man.
Mike Narks (0:29)
I'm so excited about Tonight's Show, dude. It's gonna be so awesome. Guys, welcome to episode 167 of the Drag Driver Repeat Show, presented by Summit Racing. Tonight's Show is Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 Results. We got stories. We've got Keith Turk on for a little bit. This is gonna be fun. He is gonna kind of bridge the gap between our first guest and our second guest. So our first guest, we're gonna have Tony Angelo on to talk about his new event that was dropped during Drag Week.
And we love this idea. 10 Seconds and Slower, Index Racing, No Trailers. I'm questioning, that's a question mark at the end of that. No trailers? I don't know. It's called Down and Dirty Dragon Drive up there in the Northeast. This is awesome. Already sold out, lasted a day and a half. And then the back half of the show, we're gonna be talking to our man, Mr. Redhat Scotty. We're gonna do the Redhat Minute, which is gonna become a new thing. We're gonna start doing this. I'm gonna force peer pressure this dude into it. It's awesome. And we're gonna talk about the jump in costs that come from making the move from being a 10 car to a 999,999 car.
And what it means, what you gotta do, and the question I'm gonna ask him at the end is, is it worth it? So Mr. Eric, hit the intro so we can get this thing started.
Eric White (1:46)
Let's do it.
Mike Narks (2:52)
All right, guys, my name is Mike Narks. I'm the host of Episode 167 of the Drag Driver Repeat Show, presented by Summit Racing and my right-hand man over here. Introduce yourself. Tell them what you got going on.
Eric White (3:03)
I am Eric White, co-host of the show and the news. And we had a really good week from Hot Ride Drag Week.
Personal Facebook had record numbers. Appreciate all that and appreciate all the comments and everything from the photos that I've dropped and the artwork that we're going to cover tonight. Just publicly want to say, I appreciate that to everybody that's reached out. It's been awesome.
Mike Narks (3:28)
Yeah. Cannot say that enough, man. And you know what? You know who those people are, right?
Eric White (3:33)
I do. Our race car friends.
Mike Narks (3:34)
Those are race car friends. And we just want to say thank you. Like what he talked about, but times like two or three or four for Drag Driver Repeat. Guys, it was insane. Eric was dropping crazy photos all week. Brian was at home working through all kinds of edits. Do you know my average screen time daily was 10 hours during drag week? And it's because while we were driving, police, close your ears. While we were driving, I was loading stuff to the Google folder. So Brian could then edit it and drop reels and all that kind of stuff. Plus all the other reels and things like that, that I was dropping. Guys, thank you so much for being our race car friend.
Hit the share button. Tony Angelo is going to be on at about 830 Eastern, so about 25 more minutes. He'll be on and we're going to jump into that. And then Redhat Scotty, plan for him is to be on around nine. So give you guys an idea there. And of course, the sponsors that made all of that stuff happen. It was really cool to be able to hang out with Summit for about 42 seconds. I think one day, get to hang out with them and dodge the rain for just a few minutes. And of course, Molly Motorsports was on site. That was really fun. Driven Racing Oil on site. Appreciate them a whole bunch.
Mike Neal and Kirk out there just crushing it. Deech Works, bro, so many Deech Works pumps and fuel injectors and stuff on site. It was awesome to see all of that. Of course, Howard's Cams, J-Wire Solution, Avco Racing Products, Performa Belt Transmissions, Car Change 3D and Low Dollar Motorsports, y'all. We cannot do it without these sponsors. So if you are shopping, please hit us up. We'll get you in contact with somebody over there or you know where Summit's at, summitracing.com. You just jump in there and look for all that fun stuff. But being that Summit is our title sponsor of the show, the news and the circuit and the Dragon Drive Awards, which happens here at PRI in just a few weeks, man. It's scary, isn't it?
We're going to let Brian Lone tell us about what they got going on.
