All right, Mr. Eric, let's get to this thing, guys. Welcome to episode 166, 166 of the Drag Driver Repeat Show, presented by Summit Racing. Tonight, we've got Hot Rod Drag Week records. We're going to go over every class record that stands in Drag Week. We're going to talk about some of the stories that are coming up from that. We got a few little stat things in there. There's a stick shift shootout this weekend that is going to be ahead of Drag Week, which is awesome.

A new event is going to be announced for 2027, and we're releasing the tracks for The Circuit 2027 I'm so excited. Mr. Eric, will you hit that intro and let's do this thing?

All right, guys, well, like I said, welcome to episode 166 of the Drag Driver Repeat Show, presented by Summit Racing. My name is Mike Narciss. I'm the host of this show and the news that happens most Saturdays. Eric and I were just talking before the episode, if we're going to do one Saturday morning, or if we're just going to wait until we're hanging out together to do one side by side to kind of figure out what we got going on. So, my right hand man, introduce yourself, tell them what's up.

I am Eric White, co-host of the show and news, and I am excited for two reasons. One, drag week is right around the corner. Number two is a little controversial here because half of the automotive community doesn't give two craps about what I'm going to say. And the other half is like me that does care.

It is NFL season starting tonight. The first NFL game is happening tonight. So I'm excited for that.

I've done fantasy football for like 20 years. I used to think it was crazy until I did it for the first time. I absolutely loved it. But my family has put together a fantasy football league. So me, my wife, and my two kids are doing a fantasy football league. This is going to be a ton of fun.

Yeah, that's going to be awesome. Sports ball, stick and ball sports, man. I don't, yep, you know how I feel. I'm a car guy, 100%. I don't even understand what the hell's going on and all that stuff. So congratulations to you, sir. I hope you whip their ass.

So I want to say hey to everybody out there. I want to say thanks for dropping in tonight, man. Lots of people are messaging. Lots of people are posting up that they're getting ready. They're getting loaded up. And man, I cannot wait to hang out with our race car friends. It's literally this is made a post the other day and just said, this is our Super Bowl, man. This is the one. This is if there's ever been a chance for a really, really, really fast event and a really big opportunity for historic stuff to happen. It's this one. We're going to talk about the records and stuff. And we're going to talk about how many records fell at 2025 drag week. And we're going to see that again at 2026 It's going to be crazy. So guys, please hit us up. Tell us if you're coming to drag week or not. Tell us what event's next for you. Because we've got three events are right in behind that as well.
