Dre, I'm doing great. Football is in the air. We're getting close to week zero in college football. Obviously, a lot of preseason action here in the coming days. So we're just about here.

**Andre Simone** (1:39)
Yeah. I mean, for you, the beauty of being a draft analyst is it never ends. You're just watching football year round and you get to grind through tape in the summer. How's the summer tape grind treating you?

**Fran Duffy** (1:51)
It's been fun.
It's been eventful because while I'm trying to get through as much tape as possible on a lot of these guys, there are also scouting reports that I revisited that I did in the fall because as we know, a lot of these guys that were talented underclassmen that we thought might enter the 2026 draft and ended up going back to school. So I'm like, all right, let me blow some of the dust off of the Samari Washington scouting report from last October and things like that. But the other aspect that we'll get into later has been the creation of the new draft guide, the new look draft guide. So that has taken up a lot of the time as well that I've been spending. So while it hasn't been all studying tape, it's been a very productive summer. So I'm excited to let this thing loose.

And let's get into this 2027 class, Ben. How how good do you think this class can really be?

**Fran Duffy** (3:17)
It's a it's an awesome class. Now, look, I want to I want to just lay the one thing out that because I alluded to it earlier that we saw a lot of underclassmen go back last spring last offseason, go back to school. So, you know, that could happen again. There are a lot of players that we'll talk about that have future eligibility. But that said, as we're sitting here on August 13th, when I look at my board, look at the guys that I've evaluated, there are a lot of blue chip talented players at key positions. It's not just quarterback, although quarterback is very exciting. But you look at pass rushers and you look at corners and you look at wide receiver and you look across the board and they're just really, really talented players that everyone can universally get excited about. Yeah, this has the makings of a very, very strong draft in 2027
