You have questions, they've got answers.
**SPEAKER_1** (0:32)
Hey, Meta, what's the capital of Peru?
**SPEAKER_3** (0:35)
Lima.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:35)
How do you say, where's the restroom in Spanish?
**Mark Duffield** (0:39)
Dónde está el baño?
**SPEAKER_2** (0:41)
Hey, Meta, is a hot dog a sandwich?
**SPEAKER_3** (0:44)
Technically, no. Spiritually, yes. Hey, Meta, what should I do with my life? That's one of life's biggest questions.
What do you think?
Ask anything with the new Metaglasses.
**Mark Duffield** (1:02)
The good Doctor, Doctor Sean Gorman. Are you with me, Doctor?
**Dr Sean Gorman** (1:06)
Check, check, can you hear me, Duff?
**Mark Duffield** (1:08)
Two, two, two, two for 22 in the true Richie Benno style. How are you, mate?
**Dr Sean Gorman** (1:14)
I'm good, mate, I'm good. Yeah, no, here in Melbourne, it's, as you would expect at this time of the year, quite cool, bit chilly, bit nippy. But look, look, it's good to be back in Melbourne.
It's quite interesting being here, actually, given the fact that normally about this time of the year, my personal experience, the amping up of the situation for the finals and all the sort of pundits are going off. But I must admit, it seems to be a bit of a handbrake on things, is my general feeling. And I've been out and about, I've been talking to a few people, and obviously, you know, looking at the news and so on and so forth. But I reckon, I reckon, you know, things are a little bit subdued more than normal than over here in Melbourne. So that's my general take on things here in the normally windy city, mate.
**Mark Duffield** (2:02)
There you go. So this is, of course, Duff and the Doctor, and we're coming to you thanks to Blackline, that's BLAK Line, Aboriginal Line Business, delivering signage, print, promotional products, and creative services with cultural integrity and impact. Now, Sean, you have spent a lot of time in Melbourne over the years, you worked with the AFL. What are your go-to spots in Melbourne? I'm gonna compare notes with you here, having spent five years there myself. What are your go-to spots in Melbourne? Nothing too seedy or degenerate here, mate.
**Dr Sean Gorman** (2:35)
All right, okay, let's stay going.
**Mark Duffield** (2:36)
We're not talking...
**Dr Sean Gorman** (2:38)
Well, that's gonna cancel out a few options then.
**Mark Duffield** (2:40)
We're not talking handicapped toilets on the Gold Coast or up in Queensland. We're talking about nice eateries, coffee spots, and bars in Melbourne.
**Dr Sean Gorman** (2:51)
Oh, look, there's many, as people would know, and as you would know.
Well, if you want to go for a bit of fine dining, the Bot's always pretty good in that regard. So it just depends whether or not you got the fun tickets or not to get there, but the Bot's always been a bit of a go-to. I've always been very fond of Young and Jackson's for the very simple reason that it's central. It's right on that tram line, right on the train line too, just over the road from the Spencer Street Station, for Linda Street Station, sorry. Then it's got all that activity that is around it. But it's also, you can go in there virtually at any given time of the day or night.
There's always sport being played and not just like on a couple of TVs, on big screens and those sorts of things. A lot of people congregate there before the games, whether it is a test match or the F1 or whatever the case may be, but particularly the football and it can be sometimes checked by jail. But there's plenty of rooms and up and down levels in terms of those things. That's another one. Where else?
**Mark Duffield** (3:56)
So when you say them.
**Dr Sean Gorman** (3:58)
Anywhere up and down Brunswick Street. I love a number of the Brunswick, Sydney Road, Brunswick situations there, the retreat, the, what is it called?
The Brunswick Green. That's a great pub. That's a great little bar if you want to just go and you know, while away the afternoon. But yeah, they would probably be right now. You know, if I had to go anywhere, they would be the places I would go to. What about you Duff?
