Phil McGraw (3:03)

I sound like I'm in a barrel. At least it sounds that way to me, like my head's full of butane.

Adam Carolla (3:09)

You know what, it's the words, as long as we hear those words. So much to talk about, but one thing I'm really interested in is what's going on in Paris right now and what's going on in Los Angeles and many other big cities. And it's no kings, it's fight ice, anti ice. It's crazy, it's sort of elderly women out there in their 70s screaming at ice officers at no kings rallies. And you have a PhD in clinical psychology.

I want to know what's going on because it's not just about cops or policing or something. There's a psycho dynamic that is going on that did not exist several years ago in this country. I've never seen more elderly women out in the streets screaming at the top of their lungs.

Phil McGraw (4:03)

Yeah, it is a different dynamic and I wonder how much critical thinking is going on. Look, I understand people getting out and demonstrating protesting being heard. They have absolute right to do that. I just encourage everybody to do critical thinking and ask themselves, what am I actually out here for?

It's like people screaming at ICE agents. I know they're not popular right now, but why aren't they screaming at their legislators? The ICE agents didn't make the rules. They didn't make those laws. They're just enforcing them.

Adam Carolla (4:46)

I know. It's like you see videos online of women going nuts because the poor schlub at McDonald's is out of honey ranch dipping sauce for their McNuggets. He's not in charge of buying palates of honey ranch dipping sauce. There's some manager in a back office somewhere that screwed that up. Now, you're putting the hands on the guy who's getting $11 an hour behind the counter. You have to be able to do the math.

That's not them anymore than it's the ICE guy who's making the rules. They're simply, it's like blaming prison guards because you're in prison.
