First, started started early this morning. Had to be on the KTLA lot at 830 this morning. And I don't know if you guys heard me bitch about the folks that run the arm. By the way, you're in a you work in a photo mat, essentially, with a wall-mounted air conditioner. And you're essentially in charge of a piece of 1 by 6 that's 9 feet long. That's that's what you own. But there's a switch attached to that. You either flip it up or down and you control the universe, according to you. And so I pulled up and I said, I'm doing the KTLA morning show. And they said, what's your name? And I said, George Clooney. And they said, they said, Adam Carolla. And they do that thing where they go, nah. And it's like, look, at least a pretend, first off, all these guys read at a fifth grader level. So by the way, how, I mean, I want to see some finger dragging, god damn it. But it's like, no, not on the list. And I don't know what the fantasy is at that point. I'm going to go, you got me. And then go drive back up the hill and go home and beat off and go to bed. Like, I'm supposed to do the fucking show. What do you want me to say to you?

And they go, oh man, now all of a sudden, oh, the humanity. And by the way, this is your job. Your job is to sit in this photomat and move that stick up and down. I love that, do you love people who have gigs where when you come in and ask them for something, it's like you kicked open the door and they're in the shower and they're like, what the fuck? It's Sunday at noon, what are you doing in my home? You're at work bitch, I'm trying to get on to the fucking lot.

I always love that one, who are you here to see? I don't know anyone who works for the KTLA Morning Show, so I do the, I don't know, and then she says, well who should I say is calling? And I say, remember the name I gave you 18 seconds ago? Go ahead and use that name, and then, oh, but they're put upon. Oh, Jesus Christ, oh, I got to pick up a phone. Oh, the fucking humanity. This was not on the job description. I did not know I would have to be, and again, there's five attempts just to get me to go away. Like, well, you don't have a name, I can't, if you're not here, you can turn your car around. I, again, the fantasy that everyone who's attempting to get on the lot would just fucking turn around and go home is the part that kills me. I do like the net, by the way, that they have at this club. In case Carolla's comedy is so bad, someone tries to take their own life, they'll be spared like somebody working on the Golden Gate Bridge in the 30s.
