Hey, what's going on, everybody? It is Monday, August 3rd, 2026, and this is The Daily AI Show Live. Our apologies for being two minutes late there. We had all sorts of fun Monday technical issues right before we went live, but we think we got it all sorted, and we're here with you. Morning to Cisco and Jeff and Gareth already in the chat. Yes, Gareth there was saying, good night, I'm not getting anyone home. We do try to be on time, I promise, but it was better that we get that sorted before we go live. So, glad you guys are here. I'm here with Andy and Beth and I'm Brian. It's a new week, it's a fun week because we get to end the week on Friday, will be our three year anniversary. So, we're already looking forward to that. And I'm happy to say we are already well on our way of having the website revamped, but like super revamped. So, if you go to thedailyaishow.com right now, you're gonna see the old one.
It's admittedly out of date, we knew that. And we set to motion to get a new website up that has all the bells and whistles, you know, we will have that live, probably just to reveal on Friday. So that's coming up. I look forward to that. That doesn't mean that you can't continue to go to the website. If you want to sign up for our newsletter, if you want to join our Slack community, which is free, you can go to the dailyiishowcommunity.com.
And that's just do that on the screen if you happen to be watching us. So that'll get you over to Slack community and you can join us there. So those are all sort of the background things, but let's get into it and guys, before we do the news, I've been meaning to share this on the show for like a week of my stupid purchase that I love. So I'm going to do a quick, it's like Brian news in this one. Here it is.
Are you impressed? It cost me $15 whole dollars.
**Andy** (1:39)
What is it?
**Brian** (1:40)
The latest in AI tech.
When you press this little button, this little wheel turns and when I put my mouse on it, my computer doesn't go to sleep. That's it. That's the tech.
**Andy** (1:51)
Wow.
**Brian** (1:51)
I got it on Amazon and I promise you, I know it's going to sound stupid because people, I have a PC and people are going to be like, Brian, just don't put your computer to sleep or whatever. Or like the Mac and I figure somebody's going to say the Mac handles it. You know why it's kind of cool? Like sometimes like when people like buy the buttons and the things and even the more physical things, because what happens is my mouse is on like this is my right hand. I'm on the right side of the screen. And when I go to go workout or I go to lunch or whatever, I've gotten more in the habit of setting up a couple of my different projects to do work on while I'm away. But obviously the main issue was the computer would eventually go to sleep and that would stop work. So I bought this and what's nice about it is it also works like for my wife because I'll just turn this on and I move the mouse over onto the pad on the left side. When I come back, my screens are still up. But it's also a really good reminder that I had work going on because the mouse is in the wrong place. It's one of these dumb, silly things like that just works for my workflow. But it also works for my wife because if she comes in to use the computer on the weekend and she sees it sitting over on the pad, I'm like, hey, use the mouse, do whatever you want on the computer. But if you're going to walk away again, just go put it back on that pad for me. And she's like, yeah, no problem. So I've been meeting the shows for a week and a half. And I mean, it is silly dumb, I know, but I kind of love it. And so I just wanted to share it because in case anybody else has that problem and they're like me, they have probably three or, well, I have three or four or five different projects for work going on plus personal stuff or whatever. I mean, Cloud Code is almost always running. So this actually allows me to keep working when I'm not working. So it's kind of cool. So anyway, wanted to share that before I forgot. But do you guys?
