Hello everybody, and welcome to DOCKERS Nation, you little ripper. It is the Derby edition, times two, take two, the second Derby edition. I guess we could say that. How are you? I hope you're well. And it is go time. We are just over 24 hours away from the Derby, and boy, oh boy, you can feel it in the air. It's been a good build up this week on SCNWA.
I'm Kris Klifunis, and Paul Heath is alongside me as always. Heda, how are you?
**Paul Heath** (1:52)
Kris, I'm good, thank you. And as I always say, the Western Derby is...
**SPEAKER_6** (1:55)
This has been big bullshit, mate. Cheers.
**Paul Heath** (1:57)
So let's get ready for it, because we're underway for LXIII63.
**Kris Klifunis** (2:06)
Exactly. Nice. Nice.
Almost.
It is a pretty hot little derby. We're going to preview the game a little bit later on, but there's been a few little build-up. Although I said a few little, the build-up has been decent on the show. Now, Eagles obviously don't stand a chance, but we're seeing in the recent weeks a better West Coast side. Yes. Despite the fact that their troops are going down as well, they're going to be missing a few from this game from last week and they're missing, I think, eight from the first derby which is in round six, I believe earlier this year. So whereas I think Freeman will go in unchanged, maybe one change. I think we had Corey Wagner in that first derby, and he won't be available this week, I don't think. So, yeah, it's a pretty consistent free-o team as it has been all season. West Coast are dealing with injuries as they have been all season and the last few years. But despite that, West Coast have got some pretty good form coming into this game for West Coast. Freeman obviously have better form as well, but it means it's just got a little bit more to it. I think this derby then we have seen in the last couple of years. Wouldn't you agree?
**Paul Heath** (3:24)
Definitely.
We can see one team that is not winning as much as they would like to be dominant in an area where the team that is winning is not as dominant as they would like to be at the moment. So there's every chance that there can be a bit of a banana peel sort of slip up game in the mix. Will my prediction and score prediction go that way? No, it will not. It will be towards the other good guys as per usual. I already told someone earlier today, I was recording the podcast and I'll be putting in my usual 100 point declaration at the end of the show.
**Kris Klifunis** (3:56)
What do you reckon? I think we should rename the podcast, really call it the 100 point podcast. Yeah. That is essentially the main theme of it. Other than the DOCKERS, which is a secondary theme. It's about fair winning by 100 points every single week.
The game is one we'll get on to very, very shortly, but I do want to cross back over what went on against Port Adelaide of course last week. Now, my that's a watch at the time was to see Freeman kick a goal in the first half. They did that. Your beauty. Your beauty. Box ticked. Love that.
**Paul Heath** (4:32)
I always forget how loud that bloody ding is.
**Kris Klifunis** (4:35)
Tell you what though.
It wasn't a great watch. I'm trying to ignore the ding because my ears are gone. They've exploded. So I'm just trying to talk until the sound comes back. Until my hearing comes back, I should say.
