What's up, guys? It's your girl Sarah Shorter, host of the It's Giving Podcast, a production of the Black Effect Podcast Network and iHeartRadio. Black women are some of the most aggressive, angry, passionate people. And you talk to your man crazy, and you talk to him out the side of your mouth. It's unhealed people, or unaware people, or low vibrational people. We are so spoiled and so selfish that we think that everyone is supposed to operate exactly how we want them to operate. It's not until you get into a relationship with a man that you even get the mirror in your face to realize all the places that you're falling short. Brock knows how to help me feel safe. Now in the past, he's not doing that, because a woman has never taught him to do that before. People in my comments are constantly telling me how, oh, all I do is care about men. I'm pandering to men. No, I'm calling you out on your BS and you don't like it, because you prefer to be surrounded by women that are going to pacify your BS. I'm not doing it. It is not the truth that you are not safe around men. If they say this person is my everything, now they can mean everything to you, but they are my everything. Get a life. You know what makes men happy? Peace. Not being argumentative, not being confrontational, not disrespecting him, not emasculating him. You can't even check your tone, let alone buy him a gift.

Sarah Fontenot (3:06)
Let's go. All right, Anisa, kick us off.
Anisa (3:08)
What we got? Sarah, me and you had this conversation several times, and I don't think we will ever agree on this. Okay, because you swear up and down that women need men.
I don't know why you're looking at me like that. You swear up and down that women need men. We do. And I disagree with you every time. Women don't need no man.
Sarah Fontenot (3:31)
I don't even. OK, so good. You don't need one. You won't have one. And any woman that says that any woman that says that also will not have one. This is the thing. And I think that we need to understand the nuance. First of all, if you don't need a man, you have an energy that says, I don't need a man. And the thing is, you can't see energy, but you can feel it. So any good man that comes around you, that thinks that, you know, she he automatically gets that vibe of, oh, she don't need me. Why would he choose you? If you really want a good man. This is another thing.
