Kyle, we heard from Joel Gordon, Alex Golish and DJ Durkin. It sounds like Durkin is getting ready to put a hurting on DJ Lagway.
**Kyle Rush** (2:08)
Please put a hurting on him.

Let's go.
Welcome on into The Auburn Express Power by The War Rapport. We'll turn it out. I'm here with my good friend, Kyle Rush from The Auburn Daily. Talk a little Auburn Football here on your Tuesday. On today's show, we're going to talk a little bit about that linebacker room we heard from DJ Durkin today. Goalist gave us a lot of standard stuff, so I want to focus a little bit more on Durkin's presser. He didn't talk for long. It was like less than five minutes. But in that five minutes, we got to hear about linebackers, we got to hear about their state of preparedness, and we're going to get into all that on today's show, guys. Don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Your likes and subscribes help keep us one of the number one sources of Auburn Football content out there. Start at the top.
DJ Durkin, ever since we heard from Durkin as interim head coach, I actually enjoy listening to him speak. I don't think we get a ton of coach speak. He comes off very honest and sincere to me. Quite frankly, I think they have cooked up something absolutely diabolical on defense for Baylor.
Sawyer Robertson, I want to give him his props. I had no delusions that Auburn was just going to come in and shut down Sawyer Robertson last year. He got his to the tune of over 400 yards passing. DJ Lagway is not Sawyer Robertson with the arms. They have done a good job propping up DJ Lagway. You know, at his best, he's one of the best in the country.
**Kyle Rush** (4:01)
He's saying the right things.
**Mike G** (4:02)
Yeah, right. However, I got to think that when you watch, when they watch the film, they see some weaknesses they can definitely exploit if he has not improved. What do you, how do you see them attacking DJ Lagway?
I think this is the key to the game for Baylor. If he cannot get going, Baylor has no shot in this one.
**Kyle Rush** (4:23)
Yeah, I tried to go back and look at some of his, you know, past games and the theme to me is like the more you frustrate him, the more odds you have to, you know, get him to give you the ball back. Like he threw a very high number of interceptions last year, 14 to only 16 touchdowns.
So I think the name of the game is going to be, how do we get the ball back? If we pressure this guy, if we, if we frustrate him, he'll throw it to us. So I think that's going to be the key. Like how do you do that is the question. Is it disguising pressures? Is it using?
