Welcome into the Toyota Lounge for another edition of the DNVR Broncos Podcast, a Monday edition here. And we are joined, like I said, by my guy, Benny Fowler, Super Bowl 50 champion, my guy, Henry Chisholm over here. He hasn't won any Super Bowls, but we like him just the same.

**Henry Chisholm** (0:50)
Madden, Madden Super Bowls.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:51)
I've won a lot in Madden. Maybe against the computer.

**Bennie Fowler** (0:55)
Well, yeah, no, not against actual people. No, but I've won a lot in Madden.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (0:59)
I like that. Good for you. Yeah. We also have our guy, Zac Stevens, standing by right now from Broncos Park. That's what they're calling it now. Learned that when I was there today. Well, I'm not telling anyone what it's powered by.
But we do have our guy, Zac Stevens here. What's going on, dude?

**Zac Stevens** (1:17)
Fellas, my guys, it's great to talk to you guys today. And Ryan, you mentioned it right off the top, injury scare Broncos, first injury scare of training camp. It happened during one-on-ones. Luke Wattenberg went down hard in a drill. He got up and he was doing this really in pain. Then he left practice and so it looked very scary at first. But after practice, I asked Sean about it. And we know Sean doesn't really like to talk about injuries, but he said he's going to get further tested, but he believes he's fine. So it should just be an injury scare, not an actual injury. We'll see if we see Luke Wattenberg out there tomorrow or if he's back out there at any point this week. But it's a scary thing that appears to be okay from Luke. So that's the good news of how it ended.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:04)
Henry, you had a decent view of what happened there?

**Bennie Fowler** (2:07)
I did. Yeah. No, it was just those one-on-ones, just bowl rush, they go to the ground. And that's the thing is like, you don't want to go to the ground and practice. Like it's one in college practices, they're always screaming like, stay up, stay up, stay up. They love to scream that.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:19)
Someone's job, I think. Literally, there is a guy who does that. A stay up guy.

**Bennie Fowler** (2:23)
And so at one point, bowls got taken to the ground and you're like, oh, and everybody's okay. But then it happened a second time. And when it happens a second time, that's when you just, it feels like you're due for it. But yeah, Luke seemed like he was trying to catch himself on the way down and hopefully see how it goes.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:38)
Oh, so he just landed on it.

**Henry Chisholm** (2:39)
He landed on it, it wasn't...

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:40)
Yeah. Okay.

**Zac Stevens** (2:41)
Yeah.

**Henry Chisholm** (2:42)
Okay.

**Ryan Koenigsberg** (2:43)
What else we got, Zac?

**Zac Stevens** (2:45)
Well, guys, as you guys mentioned, he said the pass rush really was what stole the show today, was the defense that won the day. And Riley Moss, to me, literally stole the show by the interception that he had. He also had a nice pass breakup at the very beginning of seven on sevens covering Jalen Waddle. That was a great play, but let's take you through the interception that he had. So there was some movement on the offensive or defensive line. I'm not sure if it would have been a free play or if the play would have been called dead. So I'm going to give Bo a little pass here.
It was a free play? Okay, so giving Bo a pass here. But Riley made a heck of a play. So Bo just kind of throws a jump ball about 25, 30 yards downfield. Cortland Sutton, who we know is 90, 10 on jump balls. He's so good at them. He goes up, gets it, catches it. Then on his way down, Riley Moss, pure strength, just rips the ball out of his hands, hits the ground. It's an interception. Broncos defense goes absolutely crazy. Riley Moss, guys, continues to stack. Good day after good day. Now, he does get beat every practice or every other practice for one catch, but it's because Bo was exclusively throwing to his side. I think one time, maybe Jalen Wattles got Pat Surtain during a team period, and that was for a seven-yard completion on Saturday. But other than that, I have not seen Pat Surtain really targeted it at all. And because it's going all to Riley Masu. He is allowing some completions, like we'll talk about in just a second, to Pat Bryant. But man, he is making a great play nearly every single practice. And this one was one of the first interceptions of Camp, and just a heck of a play, again, against Cortland Sutton, a guy who was so strong, so big, so good at securing the ball. And he was able to rip it away. And then I like Talanoa Gwifunga after practice saying, you know, people don't believe me when I say this because he's white, but he is one of the most athletic cornerbacks that I have ever played with. So give the man some respect.
