DeepSeek V4.1 Flash + Hermes Agent Is INSANE!

Today, we are going to be testing out DeepSeek V41 Flash 10.17, the new update that just dropped from DeepSeek, along with Hermes Agent. It is designed to be a GenTik model. So you can see, for example, already plugged it into Hermes Agent inside our operating system right here. And so we've got Hermes Agent working with DeepSeek 10.17.

And you can see some examples of how we've already used it here. So, for example, I said, you know, use reverse engineer anything, which is a new trending GitHub repo that's just dropped open source on our client portal here, right? So I wanted to reverse engineer our client portal, where we basically have AEO services and SEO services, as you can see. And then we plugged that into Hermes Agent, and it basically reverse engineer exactly how it worked, but not just that. I said, can you create this on a local host for me? And it actually recreated the whole process based on what it understood. So you can see this is hosted on a local host, and it just recreated the whole page, basically rebuilt the whole app, even has the whole setup here.

You know, people can select between the different batches that they want. And that's literally what done in about 10 minutes. It's unreal. It's really, really powerful. I mean, for example, I think we dropped them. This is the other thing about DeepSeek V41 Flash. The new version is like it's fast, but it works at frontier level, which has never really been seen before. So you can see we messaged it at 1038, and then at 1044, five minutes later, it already created this whole app, which is insane. So the other thing to note here as well is with 1017, it's basically performing at frontier level. It's outperforming GPT 5.6 Sol on most of the benchmarks. It's up there on coding benchmarks with Opus 5, and this is an open source model that works a lot faster. It's a much faster model to use. And it's also massively improved versus the previous version of DeepSea V41 Flash that dropped in September last month. The other thing to note here is that it's a lot cheaper to use in other models. And on top of that, this hasn't changed in terms of architecture. The only difference that's changed with the new version of DeepSea V41 Flash versus the old version is that it just got better post-training. Now, you might be wondering, okay, well, what does that look like in reality? Well, I've already shown you one example of the portal page we created. But also, if we go over to our builds here, I can show you some examples of what we created.

So if we open this up, this was kind of like a fun diving game, as you can see right here. And the thing that I'll say is like DeepSeek V41 Flash 1017 is much more visual, right? It's capable of coding like with 3JS. It can create some nice designs. It's not as good as Opus 5.5, I'll be 100% honest. But for a quick creation like this, it's pretty awesome, right? It can create some awesome stuff. Let's have a look at another example. So here's another example. And we actually compared this side by side. So if we go over to Claude Code versus Hermes agent, the other thing that I'll say here that's pretty interesting is if you do...

The creation is here quite interesting. So what I'm trying to tell you here is like depending on the agent harness, things will change dramatically in terms of what you create and the outputs you get. So for example, this is Claude Code with DeepSeq 1017, right? And this is Hermes agent with DeepSeq 1017

Now, if we have a look side by side, the designs are subtle but different. So you can see the moving background right here, and it just feels a lot nicer to use.

If we scroll down to this page, it feels a lot more flat and it doesn't feel quite as fun to use, right? And so it's got these nice image animations on the background. It looks pretty cool. It's just got a few nicer touches inside Hermes agent where you can use it nicely as an agentic harness.
