The chances of Stroud landing in Pittsburgh for 2027 Who said this, man? Somebody from ESPN said, Stroud and the Texans aren't close to a deal as of late June, Houston and its quarterback are in a tricky spot because last season did not end the way either one, either way, did not end the way either one preferred it.

Stroud threw four interceptions against the Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round and the performance that can cause hesitation when the extension for Stroud, whoa, no way, could be 55 to 60 million per year.
With how negotiations are currently going, it's gearing to be a proven season for Stroud. Yo.

You think the Steelers will pursue him?

They're saying the Steelers will pursue him because we're thinking at the end of the season, Aaron Rodgers will be gone. If they're not giving him a contract right now, it's going to be a proven year right now for CJ Stroud if they don't get a contract with the Texans. So understanding that we don't have our franchise quarterback. If he goes out and balls out, we're going to be in the ballpark of looking for a franchise quarterback soon. So if CJ Stroud is available, it ends up balling out for this proven year. Because the thing is this, Deebo, you know the NFL, you know how it goes. You got to strike when it's hot. It's what have you done for me lately. CJ Stroud came in hot rookie season. You know what I'm saying?
