Ben Shapiro responded to remarks from Vice President JD Vance about U.S. policy toward Iran and Israel, arguing that Iran is unlikely to comply with any long-term agreement and warning that diplomatic deals may not prevent future conflict.

Here's what Ben Shapiro, and again, remember, there are three different types of critics of Israel. You don't want to lose level three, because they're not enemies of yours. I don't know how to describe this.
It's like, you know, when you root for a team, you're like, I would have never in my entire life rooted for the Knicks ever, but my God, the way Spurs played in the playoffs, you became a Knicks fan. What the hell are you doing playing so shitty when you have such big leads in every one of the games? Never in my life did I think I was going to be a Knicks fan. But here's Ben Shapiro's response. Go forward.

JD Vance appears on Megyn Kelly's podcast. Remember, as we'll get to, Megyn Kelly is a person who has said that the Israelis manipulated the administration into war, who has laughed along to the proposition that the Republican Party is a bunch of Israel-loving pedophiles. This is where the vice president chose to retell the argument. So the vice president says that actually the only reason that people would oppose the deal is because they want endless conflict.
Well, let's hear what he has to say.

**JD Vance** (1:03)
I think that fundamentally, if you look at what they're proposing, they're proposing an endless conflict. They want this to go on until every bomb has been dropped or until every Iranian is dead. That is not what the president of the United States wants. What he said is, I said about this to end their nuclear program, to eliminate their ability to threaten their neighbors and project power, and to fundamentally make sure that no future child would have to deal with a terrorist regime with an atomic bomb. That's why the president set out to do this.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:36)
Basically saying the goal, Pat, was for...

**Patrick Bet-David** (1:38)
I just want to know what argument Ben is making here. Is this like a big argument he's making? Let's hear what Ben has to say.

**Ben Shapiro** (1:44)
Well, an entire field of straw man is now burning because this is what we colloquially call a lie.
This is a lie. An endless conflict would be, say, a 47-year conflict with an intransigent radical Islamist enemy that wants to destroy America. Some of us have been calling for the president to end this war quickly. Like from the beginning. I've been saying for literally months that instead of signing on to a useless ceasefire, that we ought to take or bomb Harg Island, open the straits with operations like Project Freedom with the president.

**Patrick Bet-David** (2:16)
Ben's reacting to JD.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:17)
I'll just ask one question. I know you want to move on. Let's say Israel gets the call and says for the next 60 days, zero response, zero.
You got it. We'll just absorb the missiles. We'll lose some soldiers, but we're going to honor your deal. You got it, sir. Boom. How's that going to play in Israel, by the way, while BB is trying to get elected? Disaster. BB will not be re-elected if that happens. But let's say he does.
What are the chances you think Iran is actually a good faith actor and will do what they are going to write in these deals? What are the chances?

**Patrick Bet-David** (2:55)
Less than 5%.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:56)
Okay, so this whole deal hinges on 5% chance that Iran is actually going to comply. I think Iran, can I just give a little brevity here? You ever see that? It's a weird analogy, if I may. You ever see the episode of Seinfeld when he goes to get the car and he goes, yeah, I have the reservation. She goes, yeah, we don't, we didn't keep your reservation. She goes, he goes, see, the problem with you is you can hold the reservation, right? Or you could take the reservation, but you won't hold the reservation. What's my point?
Iran will sign an agreement. They're never going to honor the agreement. You just gave 5%.
I give it less than that. That's the problem. We're making a deal with the devil and Trump's trying to do this to get out of the midterms. My suspicion, we're going to be bombing Karg Island or Iran right after midterms and eliminate Iran. That's my opinion. But we'll see what happens.

**Patrick Bet-David** (3:48)
But guess what? You know what's the great thing about terms and you put different points in? So when you invest, who is the investor here?

**SPEAKER_5** (3:57)
United States.

**Patrick Bet-David** (3:58)
Who's the buyer? Who's the seller here? Who's the investor? Who's the receiver here?
