800 different platforms and shows every year talking about how big of a Vikings fan you are. Week one of the season, you're a whole We're hosting. a divisional rival. You're like, I didn't even know.

So I watched a bit of the first half. I went golfing on Sunday morning.

And I came home. I was like, see, you have to understand, the start of the NFL season has been very sour to me, Kyle.

Because I was in Ireland at the time of my draft, the draft was at one in the morning. And I know that some people will say you should have been on it because real fantasy football people would do their draft, even if it was one in the morning. Yeah, I know. I couldn't. I just couldn't do it. And you know what happened? They autodrafted me five tight ends.

Kyle Bukauskas (2:20)

Yeah, I saw where you were staying over there in Ireland. I really have difficulty having any kind of sympathy for you.

Elliotte Friedman (2:26)

I got to be honest. I know. So they autodrafted me five tight ends and not even the best ones. Like there's some good ones, but not the best ones, not the tight ends who are at the top of the heap. So when I saw that, I was like, you can't be sour because you autodrafted. Believe me, I was sour when I saw the construction of my lineup. So I was kind of not paying attention. And then to make this even worse, Kyle, I knew they were losing 22 to 10 at one point.

And I went and I checked the score and I saw 39-22.

And I just assumed the 39 was the Packers.

Kyle Bukauskas (3:05)

Yeah. As any rational sports fan would.

Elliotte Friedman (3:09)

What happened?

How did you guys melt down so bad? I don't know.

Kyle Bukauskas (3:13)

I think when I got to, what was it? When they got up by three, I turned it off. I knew where this was all headed. This has become quintessential Matt LaFleur Packer football. In control through three quarters and just an absolute vomit machine in the fourth.

I don't know how many penalties, everyone looks lost. Anyway, welcome back NFL football.

Yeah, the fourth quarter, they were playing in Australia.
