Hello, everyone, and welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. In lieu of a recap today, I have an interview with the one and only Meredith Marks from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I chatted with her a couple of days ago. They reached out to me asking if I wanted to talk to her, and she's been on the podcast before, and I always do like talking to Meredith. And so I decided, yeah, let's do it. Let's have a housewife interview. And so we start off talking a little bit about our facelift journey, and then we get into more detail on the season. And there were no questions off limits. We got into everything. I feel like it's a juicy interview. I thought it was good. So I hope you all enjoy. And then I did get a chance to watch the episode that aired this week after I chatted with Meredith and I really loved the lip liner of it all. I mean, that was really cracking me up the whole time that they were talking with the dildo in hand and Lisa Barlow just had the lip liner going. And they were all like, what are you doing with the lip liner? Why are you doing so much lip liner? She's like, I'll do as much. I'll do as much lip liner as I want. And it reminded me of The Real Housewives of New Jersey when Margaret said something about Jen having a monkey's asshole on her lips or something like that.

I love these women. I love these women. But the San Francisco trip, what's interesting to me about Salt Lake City right now, is that trip is like a mini cast trip and they're getting a solid three episodes out of it. And the other Housewives franchises need to take note. I mean, The Real Houses of Orange County, they took their mini cast trip. And what did they get? A episode out of it. Remember when they did those dual trips at the beginning of the season? And I would imagine production is happy when they get a lot of content out of the mini cast trip. Because usually these shows do a mini cast trip at the beginning of the season. Then at the end, they go on their big one, usually out of the country, whatever. And that's how they typically end the season or it's at the very end of the season. And so I'm sure that the network is thrilled with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And to be honest with you, I am riveted by this San Francisco trip. I'm thrilled about it. Although they are all turning on each other. There's definitely like these two sides. But even the one side, like Bronwyn playing this trip. And she's like, well, I brought my friends and I'm splitting up the group. And so I'm going to be with Heather and Whitney and Brittany and then the other ones are going to the Vagina, the Dildo Museum and so on and so on and so on.

But let me tell you something. The whole group that Bronwyn thinks she's friends with was talking shit about Bronwyn. They're all sitting at the table and Brittany, Brit Bananas said that she had been doing some recon and found out about the real estate thing and how Bronwyn was with Todd and Angie and Sean. And they were out to dinner and then Bronwyn was signing something. But then they say that Bronwyn was lying because she's not having to sign anything because Brittany was doing all this research. She's like, well, I'm a realtor. So I had to do the research. But so they're all turning on Bronwyn in real time. Now, you know I do not care for Bronwyn, but I might have to get on Bronwyn's side at this point, if they're all going to be turning on her because I love to root for the underdog. And so I almost am going to start feeling bad. But the truth is, these women, I mean, they're all of them, they're fighting feud and they can't seem to make up. And it was interesting talking to Meredith, which you'll hear in the interview, but kind of her take on these group dynamics, because I do feel as watching, it's starting to get like, it feels like Whitney and Heather, like they're coming across as mean and Bronwyn too, coming across as like mean and Angie. And I don't like it. Like they're coming across just as like really mean. And I don't know. Obviously, there's got to be some grace. We're even finding out in the news today, I think it was Whitney. It was revealed Whitney Ryle-Rose had filed for divorce from her husband Justin officially.
