So, I feel like an adult, because I actually have a storage space now.
And I recently spent a couple of days, I rented a van and moved everything from my basement into the van to take it to the storage space so we could finish my basement. And my back was killing me at the end of both days, and it felt so nice.
Dan Beecher (0:20)
You're definitely an adult, you're just an old one.
Dan McClellan (0:23)
It felt so nice to climb into my Brooklyn bedding plank firm lux mattress and know that I was going to get a great night's sleep. And I feel very similar when I come home from traveling, where I've been on really, really crappy motel or hotel mattresses. I have never been so in love with going to bed on a specific mattress, but the mattress that I got from Brooklyn Bedding has been so wonderful. My wife and I, we both love a firm mattress, and this is the mattress of our dreams, and it is lasting longer than we were expecting it would, and we're so excited about that. And yeah, Brooklyn Bedding has just knocked it out of the park.
Dan Beecher (1:06)
Yeah, and look, they know that sleep isn't a one size fits all scenario. It's not even one size fits all on this podcast. You like the firm, I like the soft and squishy.
It's whatever you dig. So get out there and try Brooklyn Bedding. If you sleep hot, you get the Glaciotex covers, the copper infused foam that helps regulate your temperature. And look, there's no danger here. Brooklyn Bedding offers a 120 night comfort trial.
You love it, or they'll help you return it or swap it hassle free. And if you don't want to take my word for it, Brooklyn Bedding has been awarded best mattress by CNET, best hybrid mattress by Wirecutter. So, you know, it's the real deal.

You wonder how they get anything done when all anybody has to do is go, resurrection, and then the fist fights break out.
Dan Beecher (2:55)
Right.
Dan McClellan (3:01)
Hey everybody, I'm Dan McClellan.
Dan Beecher (3:03)
And I'm Dan Beecher.
Dan McClellan (3:04)
And this is Data Over Dogma, where we increase public access to the academic study of the Bible and religion and we combat the spread of misinformation about the same. What are our things today, Dan?
Dan Beecher (3:15)
Things are good.
We're spoiled for choice in terms of fun things to talk about on the show as always. And we're having a good time doing it. So we have chosen from all of those choices. So we're gonna be doing a couple of things. We're gonna do a chapter and verse, but it's actually multiple chapters. We're just gonna be talking about Acts 23 through what, 26, something like that?
Dan McClellan (3:47)
Ish, yeah, around there.
Dan Beecher (3:50)
And the imprisonment of Paul, which will be interesting. And then it's an artifacts and fiction where we're gonna be talking, you know, we have mentioned it before, but we're gonna have Dan tell Dan about the Tel Dan Stele. So that will be a lot of fun.
Dan McClellan (4:09)
And before all the comment sections fill up with Steely Dan references.
Dan Beecher (4:17)
No, fill them up.
SPEAKER_4 (4:19)
Fill them up.
Dan Beecher (4:20)
Make all the Steely Dan references you want to. Come up with clever puns on Steely Dan titles. It's all fair game. We're here for it. But let's just dive in first with chapter and verse.
All right. So here we are in acts. I have not. I'll be honest. I this will surprise no one. I've not read the Bible. I read the parts of the Bible that I need to read to bone up for this show. And I am obviously as we've got, you know, we've been doing this for three and some and change years now.
