Rizzuto.
Moon (1:14)
There was a ramp.
Rizz (1:15)
I hope your timing is better for Saturday.
Moon (1:18)
My timing will be perfect.
Rizz (1:19)
All right. Because if this is any indication.
Moon (1:22)
What? You got your little.
SPEAKER_6 (1:23)
What's going to happen at Greek Fire?
Rizz (1:25)
You're beat off.
Moon (1:27)
I am so stoked for that show.
Rizz (1:28)
That's right, I said beat off.
Lern (1:29)
Excuse me, what?
Rizz (1:30)
I know.
Lern (1:30)
I'm excited to hear some new music because contrary to what people believe like working with you every day, people probably think like we get to hear this stuff. We don't. Maybe Rizz does.
Rizz (1:38)
I did.
Lern (1:39)
I have not heard and I don't want to hear it. And I'm excited to know what exactly that's going to sound like to hear new stuff.
Moon (1:45)
It's different.
Rizz (1:46)
It was good.
Lern (1:47)
Very good.
Rizz (1:48)
That's all I'm going to say.
Moon (1:49)
It's different. We're doing at least three new songs live.
Rafe Williams (1:54)
It's very André 3000, Flute Apple.
Moon (1:56)
No Flute. I couldn't find my flutist.
SPEAKER_3 (1:58)
It's very cool.
Rizz (2:00)
It's four tracks of just Oboe.
SPEAKER_2 (2:03)
And Tuba.
Rizz (2:05)
Oboe and Tuba?
Lern (2:07)
Yeah, all that smack we were talking about at Tuba a couple weeks ago.
Rizz (2:10)
I got dinner at 7, so I should be good to see you guys.
Moon (2:12)
Yeah, show is at 8
And it's perfect timing, dude. Okay, great. You've timed it perfect. VIP is 6, door is at 7, show at 8
Rizz (2:21)
Yeah, I'm going to cruise over. I think I'm a Uber. I think it's an Uber night.
Devon (2:25)
Wow, we look forward to that.
Moon (2:27)
That means Act 3 of my set is going to sound perfect to you.
Rizz (2:31)
Lit.
Lern (2:31)
All of a sudden Rizz just meanders on stage.
SPEAKER_6 (2:34)
This is the greatest show I've ever seen.
Rizz (2:35)
I was watching an old clip of Guns N Roses at the Ritz in 1987 They were just playing the Appetite for Destruction record. And during one of the songs, I want to say it was Sweet Child of Mine, Dave Mustaine from Megadeth just wanders up on stage.
Rafe Williams (2:53)
Hello, everybody.
SPEAKER_6 (2:54)
He waited in front of them.
Lern (2:55)
It's me.
Rafe Williams (2:56)
He didn't say anything. She's got a smile that seems to be.
Rizz (3:00)
He was so hammered, he just wandered up on stage.
SPEAKER_7 (3:02)
Is that a piano?
Lern (3:03)
That's ridiculous.
Rizz (3:05)
And I'm watching the clip, I'm like, all right, man, is that Dave Mustaine? And you read the caption, Dave Mustaine from Megadeth just wanders up on stage.
Lern (3:12)
What a wild guy.
SPEAKER_7 (3:13)
Have you ever met him?
Rizz (3:14)
Yes.
Lern (3:15)
Oh, what was he like as a person?
Rizz (3:17)
Fine. It was a three second interview.
Lern (3:19)
Oh, bummer.
Moon (3:20)
Yeah. I'm not making fun of your voice, Dave. I'm laughing with you.
Lern (3:22)
I'd like to meet him just to know what's up. Is he a total D bag or is he great?
Rizz (3:30)
I think he's one of those guys depending on what day you get him.
Lern (3:32)
Right.
Rizz (3:34)
I think he harbored a lot of anger.
Lern (3:37)
Rightfully so.
Rizz (3:38)
Still in resentment from the Metallica stuff. Yeah. And I'm sure he's constantly asked about it.
Lern (3:43)
But he made his own way with Megadeth.
Rizz (3:46)
Of course. He made a ton of money.
Lern (3:48)
Yeah. A ton of money. And I'm sure there's some people that love Megadeth over Metallica. Don't know who they are, but I'm sure they're out here.
Rafe Williams (3:53)
They are.
Moon (3:54)
Yeah, my buddy Mark.
Rafe Williams (3:55)
Smart, core metal people that...
Rizz (3:57)
Was that one of those like, hey, if you like Star Wars, you can't like Star Trek. If you like Megadeth, you can't like Metallica.
Rafe Williams (4:05)
At the beginning. In the 80s, at the beginning, it was a schism.
Moon (4:09)
I had a childhood friend in the 90s, and I still associate Megadeth fandom with him.
