Moon tells the story of cleaning out his late father's shed with his son, which quickly turns into a surprisingly emotional conversation about family keepsakes, collecting way too much stuff, and why every dad apparently owns three sledgehammers, twelve mystery tools, and enough spare lumber to...

Little listener discretion is advised.

**Rafe** (1:31)
Verudo. Oh, come on.

**SPEAKER_8** (1:48)
That's brutal. Do you know who that is?

**Lern** (1:50)
Yeah, that's the band Heart.

**SPEAKER_8** (1:52)
That was not Heart.

**Scott** (1:54)
Dixie Jix.

**SPEAKER_8** (1:55)
No, no, no. Now, we started off the morning right with the Motown legend Martha Reeves. So, I think she's got a couple of Grammys. We're talking a legend here, 85-year-old gal.

**Scott** (2:06)
Yeah, a Grammy.

**SPEAKER_8** (2:06)
I don't understand. I mean, she was invited to do this, and all the pictures that I saw, she's standing there with a microphone, but there's two other singers in the audio if you heard it.

**Lern** (2:16)
Yeah, we did hear it, yes.

**SPEAKER_8** (2:17)
I think that throws it off even more, because they're all just like straight singing like fifth graders. She's got a lot of vibrato and a lot of sass, a lot of soul on the voice.
So Martha Reeves, she was invited to sing the Star Spangled Banner before the first ever game in the Women's Professional Baseball League that we talked about yesterday.

**Lern** (2:38)
Wow.

**SPEAKER_8** (2:40)
She made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Here's what she had to say. I read this this morning, because this was going around yesterday. We had about 55 different people emailing us. Did you? Here's a new anthem for your anthem folder. And here's what she said, Having celebrated my 85th birthday, I've learned a great deal over more than 60 years of performing live. Reeves, who's 85, said to TMZ Sports, It was an incredible honor to be invited to perform at the inaugural Women's Pro Baseball League in this event and to help celebrate such an historic moment for women in sports. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. And then she continued and said, The field conditions were wet and windy. And without stage monitors, Remember we were talking about monitors yesterday? Lern had a whole experience over the weekend. I was not able to hear myself.
While it wasn't the performance I had hoped for, I'm grateful to have been there in support of these remarkable athletes in this groundbreaking league. So there you have it.

**Lern** (3:38)
Yeah, that was me at Layneuros, guys. That was actually me at Copperfire. That's how it sounded on Sunday.

**Scott** (3:42)
The ground was wet. It was like just one of those days. Yeah.

**Lern** (3:44)
Yeah, it was totally tight.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:47)
Totally tight. I do have a...

**Scott** (3:50)
Is that audio from...

**Lern** (3:50)
Do you have a little audio from Layneuros?

**SPEAKER_11** (3:52)
Oh, say can you see by the...

**SPEAKER_8** (3:57)
Yeah, but it was what it was.
But she's still, I mean, we're talking about a legend here. This wasn't just somebody's, just somebody's grandma. This is a Motown legend.

**Scott** (4:08)
It's Christopher's mom.

**SPEAKER_11** (4:09)
Come into the house, Charles. Oh my goodness.

**Lern** (4:13)
That's the dinner bell of Grams.

**SPEAKER_8** (4:16)
I always feel bad for like anybody, really, that as soon as you hear it, you go, as a professional, you go, oh man, I bet they're having a hard time hearing themselves. Worst thing happened, we've known the Hoobastank guys, me and Scott, for a long, long time.
I saw those guys play small clubs. I've seen them play the arena tour that we did with Linkin Park, and I've seen them do all these acoustic, you know, like when bands come in at 6 in the morning or 7 in the morning.
