We did the Fast Lane yesterday.

**Scott Rizzuto** (0:56)
Long day.

**Moon** (0:58)
Long day yesterday, but we made it. We came out the other side stronger.
And here we are on this Friday.

**Rizz** (1:06)
My favorite part of hosting the Fast Lane with you guys was how confused the ESPN audience was as to what happened to their show. You would think that if you listened a lot, that you would have known, like, hey, new people.

**Moon** (1:19)
If you listen to us a lot or you listen to them a lot?

**Rizz** (1:21)
To them a lot.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:21)
Maybe they didn't say anything. I thought maybe, maybe they didn't tell their audience that they were going to be replaced.

**Rizz** (1:28)
I started responding to confused men on the text line for ESPN with, we tied up Anthony Stalter and threw him in the KC studio. They're like, where is Anthony?

**Moon** (1:38)
Listen, those sports talk radio fans are a passionate bunch.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:44)
Yeah, for sure.

**Rizz** (1:45)
They're no nonsense.

**Moon** (1:46)
No nonsense. It took a little while to win them over, but I think we did it.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:49)
Well, I think I said this on air yesterday, or at least I said it to you guys in the studio. It was about an hour in when I actually realized what was happening, because we're used to some pretty brutal criticism and people chirping at us and that whole thing because everybody has access in eight different ways.
And then, but it was different. It was a totally different tone over there. And I was like, god, dude, these people are on something, man. They have had their exploder for that day.

**Scott Rizzuto** (2:14)
Oh, it's the afternoon.

**Moon** (2:15)
Listen, we're getting the kind of angry morning people.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:18)
But that's what I thought. And then I realized, wait a second, sports fans, what do we do? Because we're sports fans, most of us. And I was like, what do we do when we're sports fans? When we go to a game, we're yelling, we're chirping, we're doing that whole thing.

**Scott** (2:30)
I don't do that. We're getting unreasonable. Well, some of us do.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:33)
Some of us do. You're telling me you never do that when you're watching sports?

**Moon** (2:36)
No.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:37)
You don't yell at the TV like, what are you doing?

**Moon** (2:39)
I mean, see? Under my breath.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:42)
Well, that's what I mean. And that is what their fans do. That's what their fans do. It's like a fun chirping where they're yelling from the seats onto the field.

**Scott** (2:51)
Yeah.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:52)
That's interesting. And once I kind of felt that, I was okay with it all. I was like, oh, this is actually kind of fun.

**Rizz** (2:57)
Well, you would have thought we were talking about the freaking Golden Girls or something because when Moon started talking about MLS and soccer.

**Scott** (3:04)
We did that on purpose though.

**Rizz** (3:05)
Yeah, I know. But like, it's so funny to see how triggered people get about an actual sport that we have in St. Louis. What are we talking about, man?

**Scott** (3:14)
I feel like we got lucky that the Cardinals won too, because if they had lost, I think the whole town would have just been so sorry. Their guys weren't there to help coach them through how to handle the situation.

**Moon** (3:23)
Talking to their executive producer over there, Mike Ryder, who's, you know, that's a great dude.

**Rizz** (3:28)
He's amazing.

**Moon** (3:29)
The man with the soccer talk. Some people are like, why don't you guys talk about soccer? And then when you do talk about soccer, why do you guys talk about soccer?

**Rizz** (3:36)
Right.

**Rafe** (3:37)
Yeah, that's why I found the tone incredibly similar. It seemed like it was the same seven negative people that will never be happy. And that felt very, I felt very at home.
It was the same number and the same call signs. I did like that they had cute names. I did like that. It was like Yadier Molina's ruptured testicle.

**Scott** (3:58)
Oh, on their text line? On their text line.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:00)
As soon as I saw that, I said, hey, how do we do that over here?

**Rafe** (4:02)
Somebody went in and gave them all names, which I did like that. That is something I'm willing to adopt here.

**Rizz** (4:07)
There was also a savage woman in the YouTube feed for them, who was like going to bat for all of us. And she was like not letting anyone talk smack. And I was like, is this my mother? Like, I didn't know who she was.
