Chris McMonigle (0:30)
Yeah, well, William Shatner, great.
Craig Carton (0:33)
Well, I saw Billy Shatner on stage. He's like 90 years old.
Chris McMonigle (0:36)
95
Craig Carton (0:36)
Not great, but 95? Do you want to say it?
Chris McMonigle (0:39)
Rock and Metallica.
Chris McMonigle (0:40)
Yeah, he did Metallica.
Craig Carton (0:42)
Yeah, he came on stage and was doing like Masters of Puppets or something, I don't know what it was.
Chris McMonigle (0:46)
Yeah, I think it was maybe Antares of Sandman, but something like that, yeah. Yeah, whatever it was.
SPEAKER_4 (0:49)
It was pretty impressive though.
Craig Carton (0:51)
I just, you know, lately, you know, I find a lot of things on TikTok, like most 12-year-olds. And lately, I've been seeing a lot of clips for, I guess it was a legal show named called Boston Legal. Yeah. With, what's his name from Blacklist?
The star of Blacklist.
Chris McMonigle (1:08)
Spader.
Craig Carton (1:08)
Spader's one of the main lawyers.
Chris McMonigle (1:10)
Yeah.
Craig Carton (1:10)
And Captain Kirk.
Chris McMonigle (1:12)
Yeah. Good show.
That's how I found Suits, by the way. I've seen clips like that.
Craig Carton (1:18)
On TikTok, even though Suits is a weird thing to me because I'm good friends with Rick Hoffman. Yeah. Get lit up, right? When, in the first season of Suits, I had a development deal with USA Network, okay? So they called me up, that's how Hoffman and I met. And they said, look, we have a deal with you to do a show, would you do us a favor and have this guy named Rick Hoffman come on your radio show to promote this brand new show we have called Suits? I'm like, yeah, no problem. That's how Rick and I met. I never saw a single episode. We've been friends for 20 years.
It wasn't until TikTok, like two years ago, that I discovered the show Suits.
How about that?
Chris McMonigle (2:06)
That's weird.
Craig Carton (2:07)
Because there's another show on USA Network about they're like two doctors or something.
I did a cameo on that as myself. That was a weird, weird thing to do.
Chris McMonigle (2:16)
Two doctors? Like Nip Tuck?
Craig Carton (2:19)
Yeah, I love Nip Tuck. Not Nip Tuck. No.
Chris McMonigle (2:21)
On USA?
Craig Carton (2:23)
Yeah. Hold on.
Chris McMonigle (2:24)
I'll try to think of USA shows.
Craig Carton (2:25)
USA Network shows.
Chris McMonigle (2:27)
Hold on.
Chris McMonigle (2:30)
I'm going to find it.
Craig Carton (2:30)
I'll find it.
Chris McMonigle (2:31)
Don't you worry.
Chris McMonigle (2:31)
Royal Pains?
Craig Carton (2:32)
Yeah. Thanks. So, Royal Pains.
Chris McMonigle (2:35)
I think they were doctors, right? Plastic surgeons, right? Maybe. I don't know. Plastic surgeons.
Craig Carton (2:39)
But all I know is that I get a phone call.
We want you to be a guest on Royal Pains as yourself, which is kind of odd, right? And I did it. We filmed that in the Hamptons at somebody's like beach front house or something like that. And one of the characters on Royal Pains wants to be like a talk show host. And I come in to judge this contest for who the next talk show host is going to be. And it was a very surreal experience because I'm playing myself. It was a very weird thing to do.
Chris McMonigle (3:09)
Yeah, I could see that.
Craig Carton (3:09)
You could probably see if you could Google that or YouTube Google that or something and find that.
Chris McMonigle (3:13)
So it was like the fantasy phenom kind of thing or like remember the contest we used to do here?
Craig Carton (3:21)
Yeah, something like that. Yeah. But it was like, I'm the judge and I have to tell the kid if he's any good. Oh my God, Craig Carton. That's weird.
Yeah.
Season five, episode four. What was the name of the episode? Pregnant Paws, P-A-W-S, I think. Maybe they were veterinarians, actually. I don't remember what they were, but that was my claim to fame.
Chris McMonigle (3:48)
No, I think they were plastic surgeons.
Craig Carton (3:49)
No, that's Nip Tuck, though.
Chris McMonigle (3:51)
No, I think it was like again, what's the name of the show? Royal Pains.
Chris McMonigle (3:55)
Yeah, I think it's like Concierge Doctor, they say.
Craig Carton (3:59)
Oh, by the way, if you have the dough, and I don't, highly recommend the Concierge Doctors.
Chris McMonigle (4:05)
They just like give personal doctor a call or something?
Craig Carton (4:07)
Yeah, so you pay like, let's make it up, a thousand bucks a month.
