It's not a Rizzuto Show with Moon in the captain's chair without some random facts. So here's a couple random facts for you before we get to Three in Five. Everything you see actually happened in the past since it takes around 100 milliseconds for visual information to be processed in your brain. The deepest hole.
I repeat, the deepest hole humans have ever dug is only about 7.6 miles deep. The radius of the earth is 3959 miles. So yeah, we've only scratched the surface. According to one estimate, every time you hit the spacebar, an average of about 600,000 other people around the world do too at the exact second. Interesting. So every time you hit the spacebar, let's all do it right now. One, two, three, spacebar. 600,000 people did that.
The scientific word for your stomach rumbling is Borba Righmus.
**Lern** (1:03)
I got Borba Righmus.
**Moon** (1:05)
Borba Righmus.
**SPEAKER_5** (1:05)
I'm not a famous actor.
**Moon** (1:06)
Oh, pardon me. I just experienced Borba Righmus.
And finally, the actor named Barry Fitzgerald is the only person who's ever been nominated at the Oscars for best actor and best supporting actor for the same role. The Academy somehow nominated him for both for the movie Going My Way in 1944 He did win best supporting actor. So that's kind of interesting. He was competing against himself, I guess.
**Rafe** (1:36)
Yeah. I saw something the other day of that first thing you read about everything being in the past. Like the stars, you know, when we look up into the night sky, it was like distant stars between 10 and 4,000 years in the past. So you're not seeing light.
That's how long it takes for what we're viewing in the night sky. You're actually a time machine, dude.
**SPEAKER_7** (1:56)
You're looking in the past.
**Moon** (1:58)
Some of that stuff might not even exist anymore.
**Rafe** (2:00)
Honestly, some of those stars could have already collapsed in on themselves and you're just witnessing their life as it was. And the Andromeda Galaxy is 2.5 million years old. We're seeing it as it was 2.5 million years ago.
**Moon** (2:13)
That's right.
**SPEAKER_5** (2:13)
I feel like those are facts.
The scientists that come in is off is like, what have you been working on? You haven't done much lately. Oh, I just discovered that stars you see don't exist anymore.
**Lern** (2:28)
That's wild.
**Moon** (2:30)
Yeah, that's wild.
**Rafe** (2:32)
The Rizzuto Show. Here, have some free stuff.
**Lern** (2:35)
I don't think I can handle that all.
**Rafe** (2:38)
Check this out, dude. If you're looking through a telescope, the edge of time, the absolute furthest back we can see in the universe is the Cosmic Microwave Background, which shows the universe as it was about 380,000 years after the Big Bang. So brand new, 13.8 billion years ago.
**Moon** (2:55)
Yeah, we know.
Duh. Duh.
**Rafe** (2:58)
But do you know movies playing in theaters right now?
**Moon** (3:02)
Because that's what we're about to get to. It is time to play Three in Five. Today's contest is sponsored by Universal Windows. Directors will be saying, I love my windows. Give us a call, because if we burn through this and these people we're going to burn them. Don't succeed. You may have a chance at AC DC Tickets. Coming up with special guest Foo Fighters next Tuesday night, September 8th at the Dome at America's Center. I got tickets to Shinedown, a special intimate performance. You know, at the intimate venue that is the factory.
What a bunch of crap.
Intimate performance. The factory is freaking huge. That's a humble way.
**Rafe** (3:37)
Go see Shinedown.
**Lern** (3:37)
Maybe it's going to be acoustic.
**Rafe** (3:39)
For Shinedown that's small.
**Moon** (3:43)
And Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, co-headlining next Wednesday night, September 9th at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater with special guests The Who and Orgy. That's quite exciting. So today we're going to play Three in Five. Let's remind everybody what the rules are for Three in Five. You will have five seconds after Rafe gives you a category to name three things in that category with the absolute rule that you are not allowed to say any sort of stall tactics, no uhs, ands, buts, or any sort of stalling. You can be silent, but once you start answering, it must be your answer. That is the rules.
Let's go to line one. Who is this? Let me see, I got to get names here. Mike, Mike and Fenton, Mike.
**SPEAKER_3** (4:29)
Hey, happy birthday Moon.
**Moon** (4:31)
Thank you very much. Let me test something here.
Okay that's the timer.
**Rafe** (4:35)
It's pretty loud.
**Moon** (4:36)
