Hello, everyone, Jonathan Saar, My Takes. And I just wanted to introduce you to Baloo, my awesome Australian cattle dog, and Ollie.
Off they go, doing their thing here.
But that's not what I want to talk about today, but I love my dogs, and I love being out here, just doing these quick little episodes. Last couple, I've been talking about content marketing, using artificial intelligence, and I guess I don't want people to think that I'm anti-AI. I really hope I haven't come across that in the last couple of episodes because I mean, I use it all the time. We use it all the time. It is an incredible assistant to our work. So don't get me wrong. Where I do see people going wrong, and I've mentioned this before, just a quick reminder, do not let it just do your work and output it. Like, and I'll give you a good example. I used AI just to kind of put together a little thought on this today. It prompted me to remind my listeners about the 70-30 rule when it comes to content marketing, using artificial intelligence. Cool. That's a good little reminder. A little number I had never given much consideration to that is actually I think I'm not really a 70-30 person, and I'm more maybe a 40-60, 45, 55 I'm not too sure. But anyway, it's a number to think about. So how are we structuring our content when using artificial intelligence as a guide?
Be careful of the models you use first and foremost. But if you have a good thinking type model that you prefer, you can get your content to a pre-production phase. So you're doing the research.
You're consuming the research to make sure that it's relevant to what you're trying to talk about. And then you're making your content outline. You are asking it. Your prompt is like, okay, it's a five-minute show. It's a ten-minute show. I want to highlight these objectives. I want to capture this audience. This is the type of audience I'm talking to. This is the... So you're putting all this information in, in order to come up with, at the very least, a basic session outline.
And then there's obviously going to be some proofreading, subject matter expert review, these different types of checks. But it's great to kind of get you to that point. So if you are doing in-house marketing, or if you're a marketing agency, it doesn't matter. You know, those are the... That's an example of the type of support that you should be looking for when it comes to artificial intelligence. So just wanted to share my take on a few different spots when it comes to content marketing, and would love to hear your feedback on what you're doing. Jonathan Saar, My Takes, again, in a tie, and not on the mountain bike, but I promise I'll be back on doing some episodes with the mountain bike. But thank you for listening to my... Take care, everyone. Bye.
