All right, St. Louis Real Talk. After those storms last year, my roof was a disaster, and I didn't want the headache. So I called the Happy Roof Company, and I couldn't be happier, because yeah, a roof job is loud, it's chaotic, and they were on it. They didn't just drop off a crew and disappear. Communication was tight the whole way. And the biggest thing, they helped me handle all the insurance company stuff. That alone saved me a ton of time and a ton of frustration. Now the roof looks gorgeous, clean lines, solid workmanship, high-end materials. It looks like it belongs on the house, not some patch and prey repair. And they back shingle roofs with a 10-year labor warranty. If you've got storm damage, leaks, or an older roof, make Happy Roof Company your first call. Tell them you heard about it on the Rizz Show. Go to thehappyroof.com, thehappyroof.com, or call 314-665-3001.
That's 314-665-3001.
The Happy Roof Co. Because who doesn't want a happy ending?

**SPEAKER_4** (1:11)
These are sexual assailants.
**SPEAKER_3** (1:12)
Two grisly homicides.
**Tim McKernan** (1:14)
I know I didn't kill anyone.
**SPEAKER_3** (1:16)
But solving these murders is just the beginning.
**SPEAKER_4** (1:19)
That can't be his first rodeo.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:40)
A young woman made a startling confession. She'd recently been a member of a cult.
**SPEAKER_7** (1:44)
I had to consider the fact that her involvement meant that she could actually be one of the predators.

You watch all three of your picks go down in flames, and it's pretty quick where you realize, man, I was a tad overconfident last week. And I mean, I felt good, Tim.
**Tim McKernan** (2:11)
I can't wait to hear where you go because I know when you go 0-3, you take it personal and you want to get it right.
Welcome into The Spread Zone coming off of week for college football. It's now week 1 of college football. Tim McKernan and Anthony Stalter with you here on The Spread Zone. Rizz is on vacation, Anthony. And you want to become Tony this week, I sense.
**SPEAKER_9** (2:43)
Well, yeah.
**Anthony Stalter** (2:44)
You know, Tim, you watch all three of your picks go down in flames. And it's pretty quick where you realize, man, I was a tad overconfident last week. And I mean, I felt good, Tim. Hadn't seen these teams.
**SPEAKER_9** (2:58)
Sure.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:00)
Did the research. You're obviously looking at what the teams did a year ago. And you're thinking, hot damn, I've got three solid picks.
**Tim McKernan** (3:07)
For example, North Carolina was awful last year.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:10)
Correct.
**Tim McKernan** (3:11)
And they go, and they're getting 7.5 points. They win straight up.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:14)
Yeah.
**Tim McKernan** (3:15)
You were shorting the Virginia market. Rizz and I were both on Virginia. You were confident in NC State. Not even close. Got nothing going. And then USC not only had nobody show up at their game, that was a little closer than anticipated, a 38.5 point number. Right.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:32)
And Rizz kind of pointed that out. He goes, are you sure you want to lay it?
**Tim McKernan** (3:36)
Yeah, he gave you a chance.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:37)
He gave me a chance. You sure you want to lay it, especially in the fourth quarter, where you might be pulling starters, and that's exactly what happened.
**Tim McKernan** (3:44)
That's exactly what happened.
**Anthony Stalter** (3:45)
San Jose State got the majority of their points in the fourth quarter, but even then, I didn't feel good. I mean, going into halftime, maybe, thinking, okay, well, I think USC should blow the doors off. But by the time that the fourth quarter kicked off, I didn't feel great. Then, of course, San Jose State started scoring.
**Tim McKernan** (3:59)
They started scoring some points.
**Anthony Stalter** (4:00)
Tim, no excuses. I played like garbage last week.
**Tim McKernan** (4:04)
But here's the thing I know about you from last year. You have bounce back weeks, and then you dig in, and so I'm anxious to hear if we are on the same page. Anthony went 0-3.
