Clownvis, Charity Heists & Wedding Dry Spells
The Rizzuto Show | Daily Comedy Podcast

Clownvis is apparently buddies with Maynard James Keenan, which is already enough information to make this episode worthwhile. Turns out Maynard’s wife is a big Clownvis fan, private events happened, friendships were formed, and now Clownvis is casually appearing on Maynard’s Instagram.

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely on advertisements.

Two of the best deep dive football experts and betting sickos in the country get together for an entertaining and, ahem, hopefully profitable look at football. That's it, though.
SPEAKER_3 (0:45)
You're expecting a rookie who's a tweener player, who's now going to be a full-time linebacker to hit them over four and a half? It's not going to happen.

If you know Dobbs Tarn Auto Centers, you love them. They've been fixing everything St. Louis drives for 50 years. They guarantee the lowest tire prices in town and have a drive away tire package that includes free balancing, rotation, and flat repair on their tires. It's incredible. And here's one more reason you don't want anybody but Dobbs handling your vehicle. Right now, when you buy any three Cooper tires at Dobbs, you get one free.
You drive out with a whole set of brand new Cooper tires, but you only pay for three. At your next stop, take a look. Take a look at the tires. Looking a little worn? Tread-looking a little on the thin side? Listen, it happens, but it doesn't have to stay that way. Head to Dobbs, buy any three Cooper tires and get one free. Don't let this offer pass you by. Stop in and get safer, newer, better tires for less while supplies last. Visit gotodobbs.com. That's gotodobbs.com. Find a location near you or see an associate for details, gotodobbs.com.
Clownvis (2:03)
Hey, this is Clownvis and you're listening to The Rizzuto Show.
Megan Little (2:06)
Happy birthday, Riz.
SPEAKER_4 (2:13)
I follow Maynard from Tool on Instagram and his handles, I am the briefcase.
It's Clownvis doing a birthday shout out, like a birthday cameo for, I guess, two crew members. No way. And I texted him, I go, dude, you're on, you're on Maynard's Instagram page.
SPEAKER_7 (2:46)
It's so cool.
Scott (2:47)
Yeah, his Maynard's wife is a huge, huge fan of Clownvis. So that's how he got connected with Maynard because she would hire him for private events in that place. And then now he's in the Maynard, all best buddies.
SPEAKER_4 (2:58)
Clownvis just went up a notch in my, in my book. And he was already up there, but now he's even more up there.
Hey, stealing is bad enough, right? But stealing from animals who are fighting for their health, this, God, this story got me. This story got me. I mean, that's a new level of low. So police in Pennsylvania caught up with a woman accused of swiping a charity donation jar right off the counter of a local vet clinic. God, how low? What a scumbag. How much of a scumbag do you have to be?
Rafe (3:35)
Cruella.
SPEAKER_4 (3:37)
To not just, you know, steal a charity jug, but from a vet clinic?
SPEAKER_7 (3:44)
Well, how many monies were in there?
SPEAKER_2 (3:46)
How many monies?
SPEAKER_7 (3:47)
How many monies? Like how much money could there be in that jar?
SPEAKER_4 (3:49)
500 bucks, they said.
Rafe (3:51)
That's many monies.
SPEAKER_2 (3:53)
That's many monies.
SPEAKER_4 (3:53)
That's many monies. Surveillance footage from this clinic caught the suspect right-handed. Before grabbing the jar, she even took some time to remove a sign explaining that the donations were for the Daisy Fund, which helps local pets get critical medical care. Now, once the sign was out of the way, she lifted the jar, tucked it under her jacket and walked right out the door.
The clinic order estimated between $450 and $500.
SPEAKER_7 (4:22)
Well, hopefully everybody rallies and they double that.
SPEAKER_4 (4:25)
God, I saw somebody stall once at a gas station. Remember, they used to have these cardboard, it was like...
Rafe (4:31)
With quarters for little kids. With the quarters for kids. With a little bald-headed kid.
SPEAKER_4 (4:35)
I haven't seen those in a long time. But I saw somebody, whoop, yank, right out.
Rafe (4:43)
Someone at a thrift store.
Made me feel weird. I was like, someone for sale, just like at a salvation...
SPEAKER_4 (4:51)
One for sale?
Rafe (4:52)
Like at a thrift store, just like on the shelf. What? That weird?
SPEAKER_4 (4:56)
Dang. I didn't know there was a market for those.
Rafe (4:59)
I was like, damn, I guess I didn't get enough quarters for that kid.
SPEAKER_4 (5:02)
And they put this little sign for sale?
Rafe (5:04)
It was like one of those... You know how the back of the thrift store had like that miscellaneous shelf with just junk from people's houses? That'll be like a buck for like an old tea pitcher. It'll just be weird. There's always like a weird... Or it'll be like a VCR that's been opened.
