I'm getting a little worried. And the reason why I'm getting a little worried, Travis, is I probably should have known this from the get-go.

I famously don't love body horror. You know, The Substance was a very gross movie. It was an amazing movie, really well made. I never want to watch it again. It was so gross. And there's still scenes in there that gross me out. I don't know why the fuck I didn't think this, what this movie was gonna be up until this point. In this trailer, I feel like they really emphasize like some gross stuff are gonna be seen. Man, when he has the fucking scissors in the bathroom or the airplane. Why did I think this was a movie for me? I think I'm too far gone now. Like I am gonna have to watch this. It's like a safety hack for The Substance.

And turning to Clayface, you're gonna turn like you like show like both teeth, like you're up, up and down. Yeah.

And then you're gonna turn to some yellow pasta that can transform his body and whatnot.

So, yeah, I'm worried for that angle of like, this is gonna gross me out. And I think there is gonna be a good plethora of that in this movie. I don't think it's gonna be the whole movie, but I think it is gonna be a big plethora of that, of like, disturbing things, because it's a very disturbing situation for this guy. Obviously, his face is like melting. Even the scene that they had in the first trailer of him, like, getting tortured or whatever, like, they're cutting his face off. Holy fuck, man, it just grosses me out.

So, yeah, it looks good. This actor, I don't think I've seen him in anything, but like, he just looks really good so far from the trailers. I know there's not a lot there, but it just, I don't know. I'm kind of impressed already by this chap, so.

Yeah, it looks, it doesn't look like scary in the sense of like an obsession or like a hereditary that like is totally fucked up and scary. Now we gotta watch these gross scenes, of course, but.

It's gonna come up again, you know, because every once in a while, we're gonna be talking about a movie like, I wonder what it is on Woke or Not, and we're gonna pull it up. And I bet Clayface is gonna be like a 30 to 40, because you know, there's a black woman playing a doctor.

So right there. Instantly 25%. Yeah, we can't have her in that role.

It's up there. But yeah, I just don't know.

I don't know about everything. I'm so curious how this movie is. I'm so curious about the reception. I'm so curious about the box office, everything, right? I will say, and I think we talked about this in, I can't remember on the review, but if not, I got the last trailer for Resident Evil, like this right last year for Clayface on Resident Evil. And that worked for that crowd, because that still had like the eye cutting scene thing. And we're like, oh shit, they're doing like the classic like awkward laughing. So it's like, okay, you know what? This might have a shot if you can get that. And that kind of word spreads and people are like, you got to see this movie. It's fucking crazy. It could. Again, my only fear, and I got that with the last trailer, not as much with this one, but not my only fear, my biggest fear is I don't want them to do the Morbius Craven, like he's Clayface, but he's misunderstood. And he really is kind of like an anti-hero sort of thing. I have no interest in that whatsoever. I want to see Batman villains. And even then, I've said this before, there's part of me that really just wishes this was a part of a Batman movie and Batman was the guy fighting him. I'm very excited because in a couple of weeks, we're going to start watching the Batman animated series. That retro series is starting up. Yeah, and luckily, the first 56 episodes are on Netflix. The rest of them, we're going to have to figure out after the fact. But we're going to go out of order a little bit. We're going to start with the two-part or a feat of Clay. And I'm excited to do the whole series, but I'm excited for that. I just don't want, even if it's a better made version of like a Morbius or a Venom, it's like, I don't really want that in concept, but my hope is it can be still quite good and I can enjoy it. Like you said, I like what the actors so far, like Domiaki, I think they've got some cool visuals and stuff going on. Again, I think they've captured the spirit of what Clayface the character is. It's just, again, it's like, I'm just going to have to see it to believe it, you know? And I know some of them are like, oh, well, you love Joker. Joker is a very different situation, right? It's like a one-off, it's not in the DCU, it was by itself, much more stripped down. So with here, very fantastical, which is fine. I just want to see how they play it in the end of the movie.
