Joined now by the contest leader, professional better out of Las Vegas, Scott Pritchard. You've been outstanding in this contest pretty much every year. Three times in the top six, two top three finishes, and I believe you're alive in several other contests down in Las Vegas at the current time, right?

Great time to be in Sin City. Great time to be in Las Vegas. To your point, my friend, the Westgate Survivor, we are down to 16, competing for about $700,000.

We would have been down to 10 if it wasn't for Nick Sirianni and that eight-second debacle last weekend in London. But as is, we're at 16 as opposed to 10 And here at Circa Survivor, I've got one entry. Long way to go. Circa million is off to a pretty good start, my friend, with 17 wins, six losses and two ties.

Matt Youmans (1:29)

All right. Nice job. I expect nothing less. And by the way, a celebrity of your status was always going to have fans. And you brought a few fans in here with you tonight. You want to mention who's with you?

Scott Pritchard (1:40)

Yeah, the love of my life, my daughter Skyler, who is in from North Carolina. She's going to be settling in Phoenix, Arizona, with her fiance, Juan. I'm a big fan of Juan, big fan of my daughter, of course. We're in Las Vegas, getting married football Saturday, December 19th. I mentioned, hey, is it possible to maybe get married on a Tuesday morning at 10, so it doesn't conflict with football? And of course, the love of my life also, Arlene. You mentioned Filipino food. She's Filipina. She loves food.

Matt Youmans (2:13)

Don't we all love food? And after this, I know you're going out to dinner tonight. So Scott Pritchard, let's get on with the football plays here. And you're the contest leader. You mentioned 24 and 11, 25 and a half points. Job well done so far. Three and two on your best bets. And your best bet this week, Scott, is in action right now.

So we'll talk about this. But you played Memphis, Tulane over the total of 54 and a half. Why was this game tonight your best bet for the weekend?

Scott Pritchard (2:39)

Well, a strong opinion on this game. And I think right now I'm pacing to lose this contest. But again, it's a marathon. It's not a sprint. But the reason I like Tulane game over 54 and a half points is to do with these two teams are very quick play teams, 25th nationally and 35th nationally, both of these teams as far as seconds per play. Tulane has been very susceptible and primate to giving up the big play. So I thought 54 and a half was cheap.

But again, I think I'm on pace. Small favorite to lose right now, but a long way to go.

Matt Youmans (3:15)

All right. Let's talk about some games coming up for the weekend. And Scott, you're going to play a rivalry game here. It's Kansas-Kansas State. You're going to play the Jayhawks plus four and a half.

Scott Pritchard (3:25)

These two teams know each other extremely well. There's no love loss between Kansas-Kansas State. It's a bitter rivalry. I think, as I've said many times, points mean more than opinions. Plus four and a half could help you here. Kansas, their defense, I have some concerns. They gave up 41 points on the road at Utah last week, 41 to 24

But the week before that, they actually shut out Middle Tennessee State. So which Kansas team are we going to get? I'm thinking maybe a hybrid of those two games, those two specific teams. So I think the four and a half could help you.

Matt Youmans (4:00)

Well, I just talked about a best bet for Jeff Whitelaw in San Jose State.

And you are going to side with Whitelaw in this game. The Spartans are in El Paso to play UTEP. San Jose State has a six and a half point favorite. You and Jeff Whitelaw on the same side here.
