**Tracy Walder** (0:05)
Really?
**Lisa Bilyeu** (0:06)
I hit 200 on a scratcher. Did the scratcher come to your house and hand you a check? No. How many scratchers did you hit to get that? I hit a button on carvana.com once. Okay, that's fair. It's like the lottery, except you always win.
Not like the lottery at all, actually. Exactly, inexplicably good. Offer's worth bragging about. Sell your car today on Carvana.

This one is for every woman who's ever been disrespected, dismissed or flat out demeaned and just thought, am I supposed to just take this? Because let's be real ladies, sometimes the world doesn't want us standing tall and standing up for ourselves. Whether it's a powerful boss calling your Barbie to your face to make you feel small or like today's guest who actually had her boss at CIA telling her she'd be a better agent on her knees under his desk. Now, most of us women would either freaking freeze, shrink or just shut the hell down. But not today. Today, we are done making ourselves small because I've got the amazing Tracy Walder with me. She is the unexpected spy herself. She's worked for the CIA and the FBI and literally went face to face with terrorists, Kida and the kind of men who just thought they could freaking crush her spirit with just a few words. Spoiler alert, they failed. Tracy has been through every single kind of hell that you can throw at her, and she's here to teach us all exactly how to actually build the spine of damn still, of resilience, emotional toughness, and boundaries sharper than a damn spy's knife. That's right. Trust me, guys, if anyone knows how to set boundaries like a spy, own her voice, and walk through fire with damn confidence intact, it's Tracy. And we're not just talking horror stories or how tough she is naturally, we're getting fricking tactical. So by the end of this, you literally can walk away having the skill set of emotional resilience like a spy. We walked you through the CIA level mind tricks that let you hold your ground without actually letting the rage or the fear make things worse. And this is so useful when someone's trying to quote unquote put us in our place.
Then we go into exactly how Tracy uses her unassuming unexpected side, because being underestimated can actually be your secret weapon. If you're asking how because that seems a bit crazy, stay tuned. Then we go into the step by step moves for facing bullies, gaslighters and even toxic so-called friends without losing your heart, sanity and your boundaries. Ladies, by the end of this episode, you'll have an exact playbook for setting boundaries that actually work, even with the trickiest and the most nefarious people in the world.
Guys, this is about resilience, confidence and emotional toughness on a whole new level.
If you're ready to stop shrinking and start taking up space, let's go right here, right now on Women of Impact.
You've hunted the world's most dangerous men for the CIA and the FBI, one of the only women in history to do both. And yet, you've said that even with all that experience, you sat in your boss's office and were told, you'd be a better agent on your knees under my desk. So for every single woman watching who has been demeaned, dismissed and dehumanized by powerful men, train us like a spy. How on earth do you stand your ground and put someone in place when they disrespect you like that?
**Tracy Walder** (3:39)
I weirdly, in that moment, didn't think that that was a big deal.
I know. I know. I'm being very honest. Until it was another male, my dad, who I would go out to dinner with him a lot from time to time, and I told him about what happened. And when I say he lost his shit, that would be definitely an understatement. And it took a boomer man, right? Who's very much Vietnam vet, right? All of those things to say, this behavior is wrong, Tracy. Because I think I had become so desensitized to that, it took him saying something, another man saying something that wasn't okay for me to then react to it.
**Lisa Bilyeu** (4:24)
Wow. I didn't expect that to be your answer.
**Tracy Walder** (4:26)
I know.
**Lisa Bilyeu** (4:28)
So you're desensitized to it, which I totally understand. What are you telling yourself in your head as a response? Did you respond to him in fact?
