Somewhere out there is a Chevy truck, and the person who drives it, well, that's a Chevy person. You probably know one, your buddy, your sister, ones who always show up, through the first to rise, the last to leave. They always have that little extra something, and maybe you've got it too.

Chevrolet, together let's drive. Visit chevy.com/trucks to explore the lineup.

I won that, came second at England's and third at Britain's, and thought, well, I better stick at this.

The Women's 76 Kilo class was the most watched class. In the culture of Strongman, yes, we want to see the big heavy freaks, but there's clearly an audience out there. I could come on here and give it bitty big bollocks and be like, I want to do this, but I'm a better friend when I'm happy, and lifting heavy makes me happy.

Eddie Hall (0:51)

You lifted 332 kilos.

Chloe Brennan (0:55)

I think at the time, it's like 5 times body weight or something like that.

Eddie Hall (0:57)

That is insane.

Chloe Brennan (0:58)

I was so embarrassed of it at the time.

Eddie Hall (1:00)

Why were you embarrassed about that?

Welcome back to The Good, The Bad & The Beast. Today's guest is one of the most popular stars in strength sports, proving that Strong Woman is growing faster and stronger than ever. She's known for her power, work ethic, and determination. She's helped redefine what strength looks like as a two-time world champion strong woman. Please welcome to the podcast, Chloe Brennan.

Chloe Brennan (1:32)

Thank you.

Eddie Hall (1:33)

How are you doing, Chloe?

Chloe Brennan (1:34)

I'm very well, thank you.

Eddie Hall (1:36)

Good, I'm good. Yeah, good, thanks. Where have you come from today?

Chloe Brennan (1:39)

Tamworth.

Eddie Hall (1:40)

Tamworth is sunny, lovely, Tamworth.

Chloe Brennan (1:43)

People knock it, but we've got the Snow Dome, we've got Drayton Manor. There's a lot to offer.

Eddie Hall (1:47)

So two things.

Chloe Brennan (1:49)

And me.

Eddie Hall (1:49)

And you, of course. Yeah, so it's about an hour drive from Stoke?

Chloe Brennan (1:53)

Yeah, not far.

Eddie Hall (1:53)

OK, nice. And how's life?

Chloe Brennan (1:56)

Life is good. Life is evolving, changing, throwing things, but happening, it's good. Yeah, good.

Eddie Hall (2:05)

Well, you've had a pretty impressive career as a strong woman.

Thank you. Two-time world champion. You've won Europe's Strongest Woman under 73 kilos and Britain's Strongest Woman as well.

Chloe Brennan (2:17)

Have you? England's Strongest Woman.

Eddie Hall (2:19)

England's Strongest Woman?

Chloe Brennan (2:19)

Yeah, never took the British title.

Eddie Hall (2:20)

Very close.

Chloe Brennan (2:21)

OK.

Eddie Hall (2:22)

So pretty successful career. You've recently had some time off.

Chloe Brennan (2:26)

Yes.

Eddie Hall (2:27)

Tell me about that.

Chloe Brennan (2:28)

So like and 2022, 2023 for me were amazing seasons. That's where my Strong Woman career like really picked up and I was everywhere. Like even if you didn't want to see me, I was there in your face doing everything. And to be honest, when I started Strong Woman, my ambitions, like they weren't small ambitions. I had big ambitions, which were I wanted to compete at the Arnold amateur, which when I started was World's, like OSG wasn't a thing. So I wanted to compete there, just be there.

And then I ended up coming fourth, like reaching finals in my first year, 2020

And then in 2022, I placed second and hit that Dinnie record there. So I was like, wow, like what do I want now? And it was then, okay, podium at OSG once that came around. And I did that. I won Europe's and I'd surpassed all of my expectations. I did everything that I wanted to do. And when you do everything you want to do, it's a very weird feeling. I'm not someone who's like, oh, I've won. Oh, and I won the natural world twice as well in that time. I was like-

Eddie Hall (3:37)

That's a lot.

Chloe Brennan (3:37)

It's a lot.

And I'm really, really proud of it. But there's a really weird thing that happens. I'm not someone who's like, oh, I've won that. So I need to win it again. It was like, I've done it. Like I've done the thing. I've completed it. So then it was really difficult to get that fire back.

Eddie Hall (3:54)

Yes, I know exactly what you're on about.

Chloe Brennan (3:56)

Yeah, I feel like you're really late. So I was like, right, I guess I just take some time out. So I did World's 24 and that was the kind of final thing for me. At the end of The Stone Run, there's a picture of me taking a bow. I never announced anything because I was like, I don't want to leave.
