Chicken Fingers, Bagpipes & A Sugar Daddy's Wild Ride

The Rizzuto Show | Daily Comedy Podcast

July 27, 2026

Some mornings you wake up expecting to celebrate National Chicken Finger Day. Other mornings you somehow spend twenty minutes debating whether bagpipes are a gift to humanity or an instrument specifically designed to irritate Italians. That's how this episode starts...

The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely on advertisements.

**Dan** (0:53)
My name is Dan. I was injured in a car accident. I don't know how any of this works. I'd never been hit like this before. Brown and Crouppen has been there for me from day one. They came out, met at my house. It was more about me as an individual. It was more about taking care of me. It was more about representing me. It was nice to have a partner help me navigate some of these waters and that feels great.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:15)
Here for you whenever and wherever you need us. Call Brown and Crouppen now.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:23)
So what are we celebrating today? A couple things we're celebrating today. Today is a National Chicken Finger Day. That's right, National Chicken Fanger Day.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:30)
What's up, Chicken Fingers?

**SPEAKER_1** (1:34)
So go grab some fangers.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:35)
Yeah.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:37)
Maybe it's a Cane's Day for you, I don't know.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:38)
Oh, maybe it is. Maybe it is. Probably only for me on this show.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:40)
Only for you on that show, yeah. It's for Scott, National Walk on Stilts Day.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:47)
Yay, finally.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:48)
I know. It's huge. You wait every year.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:50)
I know. It takes forever.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:53)
National Take Your Houseplants for a Walk Day. That's a thing.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:58)
I repotted a house plant this weekend.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:00)
It's designed as a fun, silly way to bond with your indoor greenery. The idea is to physically bring your house plants outside for some extra natural sunlight, fresh air, and maybe even a stroll in a wagon or stroller around the yard. If I see somebody walking around my neighborhood with a stroller full of plants, I'm calling the nuthouse.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:19)
Get the nuthouse.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:20)
Get the van.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:22)
What if they're on stilts though, Karen?

**SPEAKER_1** (2:24)
That's fine.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:25)
You know what? I've been burned so much in my life by fiddle leaf fig trees because I love them and they're so beautiful. And I've tried to grow them in my house and it's just not working. I moved them into different rooms. And this week I had like a baby one and I only spent $15 on it. Because sometimes these things are like 80 bucks, dude. Like these are expensive ass trees.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:42)
Oh yeah.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:43)
And I got a little baby one and it's probably going to be dead by Italy.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:46)
I think today's not the day to take your house plants for a walk because as soon as it goes outside, they're going to be dead. It's too hot out.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:53)
Yeah, plants hate being outside.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:55)
It's also bagpipe appreciation day. Heck yeah.

**SPEAKER_5** (3:02)
Hell no.
Hell no. No.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:06)
Bagpipe appreciation day. I love it.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:09)
You just don't understand.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:11)
I guess I don't.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:12)
You don't understand the bag.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:15)
I guess I don't. Love them or hate them.

**SPEAKER_6** (3:16)
You got to be my people to enjoy them.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:18)
There's no denying the power of the bagpipes.

**SPEAKER_5** (3:21)
Get a bagpipe guy to come out for the rage tribute for Rizz's birthday and really give him what he deserves.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:27)
That's not a bad idea.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:29)
There are no bagpipes in Rage Against the Machine songs.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:32)
Any pipers out there, you let me know. We'll start it off.
Do you think if there's enough bagpipes just rocking, that it turns Scots into robots, like a brain trigger?

**SPEAKER_6** (3:47)
I think so because I always respond. As soon as it happens, I immediately go to attention.
