Yeah, buddy, September the 9th, be with you on a Wednesday night. Welcome on in to Cashing Out. I'm Dustin Swedelson, and I'll be with you all night long as we broadcast from the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas. As we hit the air everywhere, we have a 10-10 game in Seattle. However, the Seahawks are lining up for a little chippy 26-yard field goal. It's up and good. And just like that, under the guidance of backup Drew Locke, the Seattle Seahawks are back out in front, 13-10, 5 minutes and 50 seconds remaining in the game. We look at the betting market. Seattle is laying 2.5. It's heavily juiced at minus 232 29.5 is your in-game total. We closed originally on the opener at 4, down to 3, 3.5 depending on where you shop. The total, which opened at 45, did not move much, closing at 44.5 at most locations around the country. We sit here looking at a dead under. I can't imagine anything in the world would happen for this thing to go over. But the story is Drew Lock because Sam Darnold, after a drive in this game was knocked out with a hip injury, we have not seen him since. Drew Locks had to get his footing underneath him. A former pick out of Missouri, 16 to 22, 187 passing yards and a touchdown in this game. That touchdown went to Jackson Smith and Jigba on a 45 yarder short pass. He took it a long way and you're not going to see him again. He's a winning offensive player of the year is off to a hot start. 8 catches, 122 yards in this game. He has cleared both his receptions and his receiving yardage. They were set at 6.5 and 81.5 respectively. As this second half surge has been all Seattle. We went to the locker rooms at the half, New England up 7-0. Seattle offensively just couldn't get into a rhythm and you kind of understand it. You lose Sam Darnold, your Super Bowl winning quarterback. You also have a new offensive coordinator in Brian Flurry. He was game planning for Darnold for weeks, for months, for this moment, his first opportunity to be a play caller. And then he loses him in the first quarter. Since then, he's done a fine job of getting lock up to speed. They've started to function a little bit more in their offense. And this latest drive, they took advantage of a second interception from Drake May. So he goes over his interception prop. It was set at a half. He throws to Drake May, 17 to 25, a buck 27, a touchdown and two interceptions. He also has an issue as far as injuries are concerned, not to himself. AJ Brown, out with an ankle. We have not seen him here in the fourth quarter. That is a big, big situation for the Patriots. Should note though, that they did go out in the off season. They added Romeo Dobbs coming over from the Green Bay Packers. Romeo Dobbs has been targeted two times with no catches so far in this game. The leading receiver for New England thus far is Ramondre Stevenson. He has five for 44 That was our one official play on this game. We went over 23.5 receiving yards on Ramondre Stevenson, and he has a chance to potentially double that today. Five for 44, top receiver. His numbers were set in terms of receiving three and a half, 23 and a half easily gets over those. And we await to see what New England is going to do on a counter here because they trail by three on the road, five and a half, five fifty to go in the fourth quarter. They're catching two and a half. If you think that they can figure this out, 29 and a half is your in game total. We are currently at 23 points.
I kind of like the over. I'm not going to do it. I kind of like the over 29 and a half.
I don't like it enough to get involved. This was a very difficult game for me to figure out how I wanted to attack it today outside from the Stevenson prop. I thought the over made sense to some degree, just because you had Seattle missing two top safeties for this game, including Nick Amanawari. You also had a New England offense that improved significantly in the off season with the addition of Brown and Dobbs on the outside. I thought they might be able to exploit that a little bit more. And then I also thought about the under because they're starting on a Wednesday. They're starting the season earlier than everyone else. And these are two defenses a year ago that were tremendous all the way up until that Super Bowl.
