Yeah, buddy, September the 14th, be with you on a Monday night. Welcome on in to Cashing Out. My name is Dustin Swedelson, and I'll be with you all night long as we broadcast from the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas. You can always catch the show Sirius XM Channel 189, YouTube TV, the VSin Watch app, radio affiliates across the United States. Of God bless America. Got a fun three hours lined up for you tonight. We'll get into all that in just a bit, but I have to update you on where we stand with Monday Night Football. The final game of week one of 2026, and with just under seven minutes to go, we've got the Chiefs leading 31 to 10 against the Denver Broncos. This was a game that closed with Kansas City laying two and a hook, 42 and a half on the total, and the total's really the only thing in play right now. That is the only question is, how will this impact the way things look, the tally at the end of week one, as Casey's gonna get home as a two and a half point favorite up by 21, but right now, the in-game total, it is where we were last night, when I bet under 43 and a half. So at 41, can't afford anything other than a safety right now, or else I'm donezo. For those of you who bet 42 and a half, you're in the same boat as I am right now. So that is the only thing in play right at this moment for us in this game, as the clock is just under seven minutes remaining. In case you missed it, we got started pretty quickly with the scoring. Opening drive, Bo Nix was intercepted by Mansour DeLane. Kansas City 10 plays later, punched it in. Mahomes 15 yard run, 25 to 1 to score the first touchdown in this game, 7 to 1 to score a touchdown altogether, and 7-0 was the score after that play. Denver answered right back. Next drive, 7 plays, 68 yards, resulting in an Evan Ingram 19 yard touchdown, 5-1 he was to find Paydirt in this game. Then in the second quarter, when I was nervous at that point with two early scores in the game about my under, we had six straight punts. Kansas City broke that streak at the end of the second with a touchdown to Rashid Rice, 13 yards out. He was plus $1.75 to score in this game. We went into half time, 14-7, Kansas City with the lead. Chiefs were laying a half in the first half. That gets home and we wind up going just over the total of 20 and a hook. Third quarter opens up at Kansas City, opens up the run game as Kenneth Walker, who has cleared all of his rushing props very easily today with 23 for 173 on the ground. He scored the first of two touchdowns on a 60-yard run to make it 21-7. Then a little bit later, the teams traded field goals following a Kansas City interception. And then in the fourth quarter, Walker added a second touchdown in the game to make this thing 31-10. By the way, Kenneth Walker to score two touchdowns, it was only five to one. Only five to one to score two touchdowns in the game for Kenneth Walker, but it does indeed get home. And that's where we sit right now with the Denver Broncos holding the football, 526 to go in the contest, trailing 31-10 and a second and 15 coming up for them as they are backed up in their own territory from the 22-yard line. We need a lot of time and uh-oh, that fumble may kill us. I think that they just strip sack Bo Nix. What are they going to rule this?
We're about to kill our under. It's over. And this is one of those elements where, you know, I try to be someone who is willing to admit when they're wrong at times. And heading into last year, I said Bo Nix stinks. I couldn't buy into a team that was led by Bo Nix at quarterback. Oh, you know what? Looking at this play right now, is that going to be an incomplete pass?
I need another look at this before I go on my Bo Nix tirade. It's still going to apply. It just might be a little bit delayed. Nope. That, this is an absolutely brilliant play. My goodness. Nick Bolton, I believe that was coming in on the linebacker blitz, he read it and got to Nix. Nix's hand is coming forward. And as his hand is coming up, Bolton slaps it right out of his hand. Doesn't even like, it doesn't even leave the palm of Bo Nix's hand. Bolton slaps it away.
