Hey, folks, it's Tim Murray, and here we are. College football season, long Saturdays ahead, and staying locked in for an entire day of football takes a little bit more than coffee. Loreen's new pouch is built exactly for that, without the nicotine. It works just like the pouches you've seen before. Tuck one in and go about your day. Each has 50 milligrams of caffeine, about half a cup of coffee, plus L-Theanine and Alpha-GPC for smooth, steady focus with no crash. And because it's Loreen, it's also got nano-hydroxyapatite, the mineral your teeth are made of, so it gives your daily enamel support in between brushings. It's smooth energy without the jitters, and it comes in mint, cinnamon, and mango, all nicotine-free. I love the cinnamon. Give Loreen a try.

Right now, Loreen is offering our listeners up to 50% off at buyloreen.com/college.

Yeah, buddy, welcome on in to the Sunday edition of Cashing Out. My name is Dustin Swedelson and I'll be with you all night long as we broadcast from the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas. You can always catch the show Sirius XM Channel 189, YouTube TV, the VeeCen Watch app, Radio Affiliates Cross the United States of God Bless America, Halftime of Sunday Night Football, the New York Giants, 14, the Dallas Cowboys, 7 That's where we stand at the break in the action, as it hasn't been the most dynamic contest between these two teams. In case you missed it, the Dallas Cowboys were a 2.5 point favorite on the first half line, 3 point favorite for the game. Game total was 47.5.

Halftime total was 23.5.

So based on my numbers there, the Giants with the lead, they cover plus 2.5. They cash on the money line plus $1.30. And the game goes under the total of 23.5 in the first half. Does that continue into the second half? That is the question, because Scott Sprites, who just bounced out of this studio, he was hitting on it before he left. There were a lot of games earlier today where it felt like a team was covering, felt like a game was going under. And then came the over, which goes against everything that we're normally used to seeing in week one of the NFL. I got burnt by a couple unders today. I had under in the Ravens-Colts game. I had under in Jacksonville and Cleveland. That had no shot at happening when Jacksonville jumped out to a huge lead early in that game. Will this game follow suit? The Detroit Lions were up 7-0 on New Orleans at halftime. That game went way over the total, going to overtime eventually. We'll see what happens here, but right now the New York Giants under John Harabaugh, their new head coach, they do have a different vibe. It's a physical football team. They're about the line of scrimmage. They're about having a fullback. And Patrick Ricard out there blocking right now. And so far in the game, they've looked pretty solid offensively. Outside of a sloppy turnover by Tyrone Tracy, down at the Dallas Cowboys' 19-yard line in the second quarter, which would have given New York a bigger lead. Oh man, the Giants could be in a really, really advantageous spot if not for that one moment happening. Right before the end of the half, New York was able to get the ball back off of an interception. They scored a touchdown via Isaiah Likely. That's how they got the lead 14-7. So they close as a three-point home dog. They're now laying three and a half. Total is currently 44 and a hook. So that's a three-point move off of the closing number on the total of 47 and a half. In terms of finding bets before they come back out of the break, I would consider Dallas plus three and a half. I do think a game between these two teams comes down to a field goal either way. I have the Giants plus three and a half, so I am considering doing that. But as of right now, because the Giants will get the ball to begin the second half, I'm gonna wait and see. If the Giants score on this opening drive, I should be able to get an inflated number on Dallas and then come back the other way and potentially set up a nice little middle for myself here. But the thing that stands out most in this game is Dallas wants to run the ball, they can't run the ball. That's because of the improvements the Giants made to fortify the interior of their D-line and bringing in Edmonds at linebacker, where a year ago Bobby O'Kara was their best linebacker and I like Bobby O'Kara a lot, but Tremaine Edmonds is a different beast. He's a little bit more physical and he has a bigger presence in the middle of the field. They also added Arvel Reese to pair with him, the rookie out of Ohio State who has three tackles so far in this game and got to the quarterback one time. But more importantly, it's the middle of that defensive line for the Giants because Dexter Lawrence is gone and everyone wondered, how is New York going to figure out a way to improve their run stopping without Dexter Lawrence? Let's be clear. Dexter Lawrence is a pass rusher from the middle. He's an athletic freak. He assists in stopping the run, but he wants to pressure quarterbacks and they were a horrific run defense with him. In comes DJ Reader. That helps the situation. Shelby Harris also improves things. Now you got a little bit of beef on that D line and because of that, I think the direction to look for this in terms of player props right now in the second half would be picking at a couple of guys for Dallas whose numbers have dropped because they are trailing and what do we like to do with props? We correlate passing and receiving props with an underdog. Dallas was the favorite at the start of the game, but we've seen action since then. Dallas is now the underdog. Dallas is down a touchdown and if the Giants can get a field goal or a touchdown on the first drive of the second half, they will abandon the run. And Brian Schotheimer wants to abandon the run.
