Yeah, buddy, September the 10th, be with you on a Thursday night. Welcome on into Cashing Out, I'm Dustin Swedelson, and I'll be with you all night long as we broadcast on the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas. The place is still poppin. The game, however, is not. 27-7, Niners with the lead, 9.43 to go in the contest. This game, which closed with the Rams, laying the three in a hook, we are looking now at San Francisco bullying your Super Bowl favorites for four quarters down under in Australia. You think maybe the flight situation and getting into town hours ago might have had an impact on this game? I read an article how the Rams did years of research for this moment getting ready. I would say maybe next time you use elite athletes and actually have to play a game before you do that type of research, because so far, they have not woken up from their slumber. I think maybe the melatonin is lagging a little bit with these guys because there's been no explosiveness. And in all fairness, San Francisco has dominated the time of possession in this game. Their drives have been long, they have been sustained, and if they lasted any more than five hours, they'd have to call a doctor at this point. It has been nothing but San Fran, the Rams with the ball back, nine and a half to go, trailing by 20 The Sean McVay have some crazy rabbits up his hat. We'll find out if he could pull one out here, as thus far in the game, everything stat-wise points in the direction of the San Francisco 49ers, 29 minutes and 25 seconds of possession to the Rams with 20 minutes and 57 seconds. This basically came down to the drive in the third quarter for the Rams. They had one drive in the third. They got down to the one yard line, had a couple cracks at scoring a touchdown, unable to do so. Niners get the ball back from their own end zone. They go 11 plays, 99 yards, five minutes and 44 seconds ending. In a Brock Purdy, Debo Samuel hookup, he was plus 370 Samuel to find pay dirt. He scores and that's how we got here with Pinheiro adding a field goal just before we hit the air. Tip ball by Stafford with about 838 to go and that's going to be an incompletion, bringing up a second down for the Rams. Looking at the adjusted number in game, San Francisco was laying 16 and a hook. Your in game total is 48 and a half as well. As we get started here on a Thursday night, we've got a lot to get to over the course of the next three hours. Some sharp people are going to join us with college football, NFL, bets along the way. We'll do our underdoggy style. Favorite dogs for the week. We have news out of Atlanta regarding the quarterback situation, which actually might be a positive if you're looking to bet the Falcons this week. I'll explain more later, but in the meantime, we have to do what we do. Mondays, Thursdays, Sunday night here on the show, we take you through the end of the prime time football game.
Third and 10 about to happen here for the Rams trailing by 20
And at 834 to go, you're in two down territory. You got to go for it if you come up short here. So I'm curious what McVeigh dials up because to me, this is one of those spots in the game where you use a halfback draw, you do something short and see if a guy can make someone miss. And then on fourth down, you try and move those chains. Third and 10 coming up here for the Rams from their own 46-yard line. There's a bubble screen to Puka and he gains yardage, but a great tackle by the secondary for San Francisco. You know, we wondered Robert Sala is gone. Raheem Morris is in. Same story, man. This defense is still really, really good. They've gotten healthier in the off season, obviously. However, a story out of San Francisco early in this game, their second round rookie, Dejan Scribling, he left, carted off the field with an injury. He has not since returned. We await more news on what the prognosis is with a guy that they needed this year after the injury to Ricky Pearsall in the preseason. Stafford on fourth and five, last gasp here, takes a shot and tried to draw a PI. I guess it's incomplete. I'm not really sure what's going on with this offense, but Sean McVay just has an issue with Kyle Shanahan. It's the mentor VS the mentee. And Shanahan has an underdog against McVay, entered this game seven and one against the spread since 2019
