On the college campuses and we begin with Clemson who opens up this week taking on LSU. It's a battle of death valleys. We were waiting for the official announcement. We got it earlier today as Dabo Sweeney announced. Christopher Vazina will be the starting quarterback for the Tigers this year. Here's what the head coach had to say about his QB one.

We're as far as we can go and CV has won the job, but I can't give him a lifetime contract.
He's got to go do it. People say, what do you need to see? Well, he go win some games, go play well. I mean, it's complicated. That's just where you are. And I'll say this about Tate, because CV again has been incredibly steady, really has done a lot of great things and has performed well and has kept the job. He had the pole position and then Tate kind of closed the gap, and CV kind of separated again. But I got to give Tate a ton of credit. This kid is a true freshman walking in here.
He is really super talented, but you can't just be talented, and he ain't going away. I mean, I think he's going to continue to compete. I'm not going to guarantee that he's going to play, but I would say it's probably likely.

That was not exactly a lot of support for his new quarterback. Oh, LSU minus 10 might be the play we got to lock in right now. I don't think we're going to get a nine and a half. I think we're only looking at this getting north of 10 We opened 11, it's down to 10 Initially, my thought was, give me the ugly dog, give me Clemson here, take it on LSU.
The more Dabo speaks, the more it sounds like he's going to be awesome when he joins college game day next year. Cause I don't know if he's going to be the head coach of Clemson. That was not a lot of belief in your new quarterback. This is such a weird situation. Why don't you keep in mind, Clemson a year ago was bad.
