Coming to you from the Circus Sportsbook here in downtown Las Vegas, I'm Scott Siedenberg. It's Cashing Out here on VSiN, the Sports Betting Network. Go is on Twitter, at ScottSondErick. You hit us all up on the network, at VSiN Live, as we are monitoring some action in college football. We could have more updates on upsets on what has been a busy day of upsets in college football. And joining me in studio right now, we will transition to the NFL. He is pro better Scott Pritchard, who is coming into today, number one, first place in our Circa Friday Football Invitational, after what, second or third place last year and the year before, I believe. Second, third place two of the last three years.
Scott Pritchard (1:29)
Two years ago, sixth place.
Scott Seidenberg (1:30)
Third place two of the last three years. And in first place, so far here this season. That's a pretty darn good record.
I'm sweating out a couple of games right now. I'm hoping to backdoor a cover here for Houston, who is up three with two minutes left. I don't know if you saw what happened earlier, but I had the double backdoor situation in Corvallis. Yeah, so Oregon State, 17 and a half point favorites. If you had 18, you wound up pushing. If you had 18 and a half, unfortunately, it was a loss. But they gave up a touchdown to Washington State with like a minute 40 left in the game.
Scott Pritchard (2:02)
They went for two.
Scott Seidenberg (2:03)
And they went for two. Washington State did, of course, you're losing. And then with about a minute left, Oregon State scored their own touchdown. So I got backdoored and then I backdoored the backdoor.
Sometimes it works out in your favor.
Scott Pritchard (2:15)
Even when you lose, you win.
Scott Seidenberg (2:17)
Exactly, even when you lose, you win. I know you picked your full card in the Friday Football Invitational for College Football this week. How did it go for you this week?
Scott Pritchard (2:26)
You know, it's interesting. Last weekend, six and one, and what a difference a week makes. I always say yesterday's history, today is a mystery. You're only as good as your next game. And I'm on the verge of going two and five, one and six. My best bet last night, two lane, over 54 and a half. And this clown character dropped a touchdown pass.
Scott Seidenberg (2:48)
I know.
Scott Pritchard (2:49)
And the very next play.
Scott Seidenberg (2:50)
Interception.
Scott Pritchard (2:50)
Interception.
Scott Seidenberg (2:51)
Well, I tweeted something out about that game last night because I actually live bet Memphis and I live bet them plus nine and a half. And when the kid from two lanes scored that touchdown, it was kind of like the back door that happened to me. I'm like, if he goes down there and just gets the first down, they take a couple of knees in the games over. But then I'm thinking, I'm still alive. Memphis can still score as BYU scores to take a late lead over Notre Dame with a minute forty seven left. My goodness.
Scott Pritchard (3:17)
What a nice money line play that would have been like a double digit dog.
Scott Seidenberg (3:21)
North of plus three hundred. That was nice. It would have been nice.
But then what happened was, as you mentioned, Memphis drove down the field, he throws a touchdown for the cover and he drops it and unbelievable. Unbelievable. Just what a week it's been in college football. What a day it's been in college football with all these upsets. And I just, I long for the days where like these upsets mattered, Scott, like because these teams are going to make the playoffs. Notre Dame is in the playoffs regardless of the loss here. If they do lose, as BYU, with the extra point is up 28 to 24 Why do you pick more college games than pro games in these contests?
