It is the Wednesday edition of Cashing Out. My name is Dustin Swedelson. As always, coming to you from the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas, me here, you there. Appreciate you making us part of your night. However, you may be tuning in. SiriusXM Channel 189, YouTube TV, the Visa Watch app, and radio affiliates across the United States. Of God bless America. As we hit the air everywhere, some updates for you across the sports land. For starters, we have a final score in college football. That just happened while we were in our break. Missouri State pulls off the upset against Kennesaw State 24-21.
Final score as Missouri State kicks a walk-off field goal to finish out the game. They closed as two and a half point dogs, and that game stays under the total of 53 Right now, another game in college football. Currently in the fourth quarter, it's Western Kentucky. They're leading on the road at Sam Houston 16-3. This game was a pick-up. Total was 53 and a half. We look like we're gonna hit a pretty solid under there if you bet that. And right now, we've got Sam Houston with the football, and they're facing a third and nine, hoping to come back and make this game interesting. But the critical story at this hour is the Dodgers in 20-26 are officially on life support. Currently in the ninth inning, it is a 5-2 ball game. The Milwaukee Brewers have an opportunity to go up three games to none on the back-to-back world champions. Only one team's ever come back down three-nothing. Ironically, the manager of the Dodgers, Dave Roberts, was on that team, the 2004 Red Sox. As I say that, the Brewers have tacked on an additional insurance run. Six to three is the score. Milwaukee was plus $1.50 at close. Dodgers were minus 162 Total in the game was seven and a half. With that RBI single off Robleski, we have gone over the total in game three. Joey Ortiz ripping one past the diving Max Muncie, and that makes it a six to ball game. Current total is eight and a half. 39 to one. The Dodgers on the money line. If you think that they can come back and win this thing, but it does appear the Dodgers run their season. It may be coming to an end in the next couple of days here. As Milwaukee has been resilient, that is the greatest sign of a special team, is that when you're down, you're never down for very long. You find a way to come back, and the biggest way that you can showcase how special this Brewers team is, is what they've done the last two days.
Every single time the Dodgers have scored, Milwaukee has answered the following inning, the following half inning. Next chance at bat, they have responded. They did that tonight once again. Milwaukee was up one nothing. First batter of the game, Jackson Churio, with a solo shot. We got to the bottom of the sixth, and that's when the Dodgers did a lot of work at the plate. Will Smith, with an RBI double at plates two, makes it a 2-1 ball game. Top of the seventh, all of a sudden, we get three runs from Milwaukee, and that was off of a Blake Snell that was cruising in this big game, doing what he was supposed to do. Outside of the one mistake to begin the game to Churio, he was awesome. However, however, we got to the seventh, and I'm sorry, the eighth, and we are, no, it was the seventh, right? Yeah, seventh.
We had a homer from Jake Bowers, another great at bat. I think that's something that really needs to be brought to light here.
Milwaukee, the approach at the plate is next level. I don't know if it's old school, I don't know if it's new school. I just know they have a plan. They're not just going up there swinging and relying on their ability to hit for power, although what I'm about to tell you is they did hit for power. Bowers and Garrett Mitchell went back to back. Bowers was a two run shot because Andrew Vaughn walked, Christian Yelich pinch ran for him, and Christian Yelich got to pinch jog for him all the way home. Garrett Mitchell, the next batter of the game, he homered as well to right center. Both of them over 400 feet. And that kind of just took the life out of the Dodgers. They had Snell on the bump. There was no outs to that point in the inning. And since then, the Dodgers have added a few more runs. So we're in the middle of the ninth inning. Dodgers season is on the line. And you guys got to tell me this because it's not this year. It certainly wasn't last year. And I don't believe it was the year before.
