Free baseball going down at Dodger Stadium. By the way, we are in the 10th inning as the Cardinals are threatening to take the lead, and I believe they just did. And the runner's safe at first. Oh, of course, we finally don't actually bet one of the games that we like late with the live action. And I was like, I like the Cardinals, I don't trust the Dodgers bullpen. I also like the over 11 and a half. And right now, it's six to five. And the Cardinals would nobody out have runners on first and second. So hope you bet it, because if I don't bet it, it usually happens. If I do bet it, it completely misses by a mile. But that's just the world we're living in with baseball. And the beautiful thing about baseball is that it's no longer going to be our singular focus. College Football returns, the NFL will be back next week to help us break it all down. We go out to the Progressive Guest Line. Welcome in Eric Cohen, sports line handicapper at Cohen's Corner AZ on X. And he finds, he joins us on the Progressive Guest Line.
So, Eric, let's talk as the Cardinals are about to add another run and they go over that in-game 11 and a half. They're going to take a two-run lead at least on the Dodgers, 7-5.
They're up 8-5, Cardinals with the lead. All right. But College Football is the story. And you and me, my friend, we are simpatico on a bunch of plays, which is very concerning for either us or the sports book. Let's begin with USC and Fresno.
That I think was the first bet I placed this week. Feels like a complete overreaction to how this team looked against San Jose State, keeping it very simple. Right now, it is USC minus 22, total is 52 You can still get a 51.5 out there. I'm on the over, you're on the over. Why are we cashing this ticket, my friend?

**Eric Cohen** (1:45)
Dustin, I gave you the over for USC San Jose State last week, and that cruised over with, what, a 28.4th quarter. Thank you, San Jose State. But here's the stat for you. It's the earliest season, Trojan's over trend, and I'm going to play it this week, and I'm going to play it next week. So Lincoln Riley has coached eight games at home as a Trojan against non-conference opponents in August and September. In those games, the average score has been USC 57, opponent 17
USC has never scored less than 42 points in any of those contests, which was the number they put up last week.
I was less than impressed with that defense on Saturday. I think you would agree with me, but the offense under Jaden Maiava was really crisp and in mid-season form. Expect points galore in the LA Coliseum on Friday night. I have it USC 44, Fresno State 21, this one flying over by two touchdowns.

**Dustin Swedelson** (2:38)
Let's go. I love to hear it. I think they opened up a little bit more against a tougher opponent, a defensive minded head coach. I totally agree there. How about Liberty and James Madison? Cause I have to tell you, when I first looked at the odds a couple of weeks ago for week one, this was number one with a bullet, a line that didn't make sense to me. I don't understand it. JMU has a new head coach in Billy Napier. Anyone who was any good went with Bob Chesney to UCLA.
Liberty was underwhelming a year ago, but they have continuity. Jamie Chadwell is back. I think the health issues he faced a year ago are in the past.
Right now, that number is on the move. It's from six and a half down to six. Total from 51 and a half down to 50 and a half. We both like the dog here. What do we like about Liberty?

**Eric Cohen** (3:22)
Yeah, given this one out is my money line underdog of the week, Liberty plus 185 Yesterday, it was plus 210 So as you said, that number is on the move. I love the coaching match up. Billy Napier, first game at JMU, as you mentioned, Jamie Chadwell. But Liberty, I think they're the class of Conference USA this year. They have four starters back on the offensive line and they added Kanye Udo, the running back, was at ASU last year, Arizona State and was at Army the year before. Now, JMU, as you mentioned, Dustin, in rebuilding mode with only five returning starters, I think Liberty has a shot to win this game outright. So I'll play that plus 185
