Back on Cashing Out, Dustin Swedelson, coming to you from the Circus Sportsbook in downtown Las Vegas broadcasting, as always, Series XM Channel 158, YouTube TV, the Visa Watch app and radio affiliates across the United States of God bless America. We have one pre-season game still in action right now.
It's the Rams leading the Chargers 13-7, 5-18 to go in the third. And a nice little run as we get into deeper Rams territory by the Chargers. And we've seen this number plummet. Rams laying one and a half now up by six. 33 and a half is the total.
I'm not going to bet it. I would still lean the under 33 and a half. I just think end of the pre-season, you start calling off those dogs. You don't want anyone to get hurt here. So my anticipation is even if the Chargers were to score a touchdown here, maybe wait to see how this drive goes. If they punch one in, I'd go under and just say, you know what, these two teams are not trying to score touchdowns and here is another nice run by the Chargers to pick up a first down and that stops the clock at 441 to go in the third quarter. With that, let's stay on the West Coast, the best coast. We'll go up to the Pacific Northwest. Michael Bumpus, lead host for the Seahawks, CW Analyst, College Football, also hosts Bump and Stacey 10 a.m. on Seattle Sports and he joins us now on the Progressive Guest Line. Michael, I know football is here because I see your face. I'm so excited to chat with you, man. Thanks for doing this.
**Michael Bumpus** (1:33)
Hey, it's been a while. I'm ready to go, man. Best time of the year is when football season is here. I'm ready to go. How you doing?
**Dustin Swedelson** (1:40)
I'm good, man. We had your guy, Will Blackman, on the other night. I'm looking forward to this group, you guys with Rick Allen on the play-by-play and the Pac-12 is back. It is back in our lives. First glance for you looking at this league, because from a betting perspective, the betting market likes Boise State. I think we understand that. We understand why, what they bring to the table. Quarterbacks back, head coach is back, running back, back. San Diego State is there, 4-1. Texas State, I feel like is a sneaky team. People are talking about it, plus 425
And then Fresno State with a national champion head coach, Matt Ence now taking over in his second season. How do you view this league top to bottom right now? Who really stands out to you?
**Michael Bumpus** (2:22)
I think you got it right. Honestly, I think Boise State is probably the team to beat. You're bringing back a guy in Danielson as what?
24 games in four years. The tradition at Boise State is probably the best in the pack right now. I know I'm a Washington State guy, but I got to keep it 100, man. Boise State is my favorite to take this thing. I like Texas State. I think they are the sneaky guys as well.
But you know what? I wouldn't sleep on San Diego State as well. Here's the thing. The Pac-12, it's the state conference now. All the state schools are here. I think that we're going to find out a lot. I'm not sleeping on my Washington State Cougars. We have Corby Moore who's there as well. We're going to know a lot of new guys, man. We lost a lot of players, but that's just college football. But if I'm a betting man, which I'm not, I'm not allowed to do it because I'm affiliated. I got to go with Boise State. There's the experience and there's the tradition, and there's the leadership over there. I tip my cap to Boise State.
**Dustin Swedelson** (3:17)
Yeah, I think that's the direction to look right now. But the Pac-12 after dark, it's going to be back in our lives. We've missed it for the last few years. I'm excited for it. How about, not far from you, I'm sure there's a little animosity between people in Washington and people in Oregon. But the Ducks are a very trendy pick to win the title. In full disclosure, that's my team as well.
I love Dan Lanning and what he's built. They have so much back on defense. Dante Moore is back to lead the offense here. Looking right now at the Big 10 odds, plus 240, second shot in the board. They're not the favorite to win the national title, though. You can get them around 8 to 1 What do you make of the Ducks here for Dan Lanning this season?
