We're gonna cover a lot of ground. Just one live baseball game in the fifth inning, one won the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Giants tied up right now. Keep you posted on that throughout the night as that game moves along. We've got one football game left in what was a quad. And we'll get Quad to that box in a minute. And we'll, quad-schedule get to, four that games in on a the minute NFL slate.

games on the slate. The last one We just. went final, the third to last one just went final. Niners topped the Raiders 18-12. Why does that matter? Niners were catching three and a half in this game, and we go under the total of 38 and a half. Just before that, the Browns and Patriots wrapped things up 37-13, the final score. Cleveland with the win outright and the cover plus the two and a half. So two dogs winning outright there. And then the dog also does not win outright, but does cover in the first game of the day. Buffalo 28-27, your final score. Some of the things that have jumped up, jumped out thus far in tonight's preseason action. So Cleveland, Dylan Gabriel.
In the game, no Shador Sanders, no Deshaun Watson. We all know the story. People don't understand it. Why wouldn't you play Shador Sanders a little bit more? Dylan Gabriel looked pretty good. You gotta give him credit. I know it gets pretty basic defense from New England. Not a lot of guys out there that matter, but they let Dylan Gabriel open up the offense, make a couple of chances, push the ball downfield. I'm not sure he really has the arm strength to be an NFL starting quarterback, but if he could protect the football with that defense, and Todd Monckin in year one has me a bit concerned about a future I have on Shador Sanders to lead the league in interceptions at 40 to 1, because that might be the safer play. Because the difference between Dylan Gabriel and Shador Sanders is Dylan Gabriel knows he's Dylan Gabriel. Shador Sanders thinks he's Tom Brady, and that's a problem. And I think Todd Monckin knows that. And if he's trying to instill a culture of winning, he may prefer Dylan Gabriel. And I'm not saying Dylan Gabriel is the better quarterback or the better talent, but probably the guy that's less embarrassing out there.
But when I think big picture for Cleveland, what they need, they need to find out what Shador is and what he isn't. Because the questions about Shador will always hang over the organization. So if you're Todd Monckin, I think the way you look at this quarterback situation is, you put out to Shawn Watson for a couple of weeks, you admit there's nothing left in the tank, and then you wear out Shador Sanders the entire season, because you need the fan base to stop asking questions. You need the reporters to stop bringing him up in every single media availability that you have when you're at the facility. You just need to know, is this guy worth looking at or not? I think most of us know Shador Sanders is not a franchise quarterback. He is not a special arm talent. I think it's more of a physical thing than it is a mental thing. But for Cleveland, just to move on with their lives, you have to find out. It's like so many women when I was single. Look, they toyed with the idea of going out with me. They pop up here and there, and then they had to find out the hard way that I wasn't a good match for them by admitting defeat, going out for me, and then never talking to me ever again. That's what the Browns have to do in this situation. But Dylan Gabriel, 12 of 15, a buck 86, three touchdowns. Talon Green, the backup from Arkansas, five of seven for 27 through the year, but eight for 66 on the ground.
I'd like to see some packages built for that guy. I'm a bit of a Talon Green stan. Going back to Boise, he's got just a physical skill set that makes sense. If anyone could ever figure out how to turn that into a playable quarterback, he would be really fun to watch.
