Craig Carton (0:00)

Yeah, did you ever see that story with that race-baiting tool, Sunny Hostin, Hustin, whatever name is on the view? She told this whole story, this grandiose story, that when she was younger, she was a holdout juror on a murder case.

Chris McMonigle (0:15)

Oh, yeah, I saw that story.

SPEAKER_3 (0:17)

She was the one juror.

Craig Carton (0:18)

There's apparently some guy that killed his wife, chopped her up, cooked her, and then fed her to homeless people.

Okay? So the defense attorney was like, not guilty reason of insanity. And she claims that back then, she was the one juror that convinced the other 11 jurors, and not guilty reason of insanity. And she's really proud of the fact that she led an animal like that, you know, not go to prison. She was, ah, look at me, right?

Chris McMonigle (0:49)

Yeah, I'm such a talented... Right.

Craig Carton (0:51)

She even showed a New York Times article from back in the day, that acknowledged that one juror swayed all the other ones. All right, whatever, it's your life experience, that's your experience. Except there's one problem with her story.

She lied about it.

Chris McMonigle (1:04)

What part?

Craig Carton (1:06)

About being the juror that convinced the other jurors to say not guilty reason of insanity.

A wasn't her. B, I think, was a guy.

Chris McMonigle (1:15)

Oh my God.

Craig Carton (1:17)

So it's in the New York Post right now.

Chris McMonigle (1:19)

You don't think anyone would fact check that?

Craig Carton (1:20)

She's getting dragged rightfully so, dude. Love it. I love it.

Chris McMonigle (1:25)

That's the interesting one.

Craig Carton (1:26)

Like, why would you invent that when the other 11 jurors are probably still alive? And now that you're famous on TV, somebody's going to fact check you.

Chris McMonigle (1:36)

I would think so.

Craig Carton (1:36)

Right?

Chris McMonigle (1:37)

Yeah. That seems like an obvious law you're going to get caught on.

Craig Carton (1:41)

Yeah. Oh, she made it up. Oh, I was the lone juror. I convinced 11 other people. You know, they all listened to me. My heart felt pleased that he shouldn't go to prison.

They're like, dude, he killed the person, chopped her up and cooked her and fed her to homeless people. To be fair. Now, I'm not saying that's not crazy, but she was trying to take ownership of me. Look at me.

It turns out she wasn't the juror. She was one of the jurors that got convinced.

SPEAKER_4 (2:09)

Yeah. I hear you.

Craig Carton (2:12)

Not a fan.

SPEAKER_4 (2:14)

I hear you.

Chris McMonigle (2:15)

It might not take that much to convince me someone who did all that was insane, but you know.

Craig Carton (2:19)

And yet, and yet, and yet, she had to make it about herself.

Chris McMonigle (2:24)

Of course.

Craig Carton (2:25)

Right?

Chris McMonigle (2:25)

That's what people do.

Craig Carton (2:26)

And she minimized the murder. She's like, yeah, you know, yeah, you know. What?

Chris McMonigle (2:30)

Did you say he fed the wife to the homeless?

Craig Carton (2:34)

He chopped her up, as I'm reading. I didn't know about the story until I'm reading it.

Chris McMonigle (2:38)

Yeah, I didn't know all the details. I saw that she was.

Craig Carton (2:41)

He chopped. There's a new term for homeless people, by the way, on shows like The View also, that I was totally unaware of. I saw it for the first time. Apparently, it's offensive to refer to a homeless person as homeless. How dare you say that person's homeless, even though they're homeless? Right. Do you know the term they're using?

A fascinating term. Close. Very good guess. No, but close. The term that they're now using, I'm not sure if this is just like cuckolded losers or just the gals on The View, but the term they're using now is the unhoused.

Chris McMonigle (3:18)

The unhoused.

Craig Carton (3:19)

Come on, man.

How is the term homeless offensive? Oh, there's Billy. Yeah, he's unhoused. Is that right? You mean he doesn't have a home? Yeah, that's right.

Chris McMonigle (3:29)

I hear you, but do you care if you say unhoused or homeless?

SPEAKER_3 (3:32)

Yeah, it bothers me.

Craig Carton (3:33)

It's like people that say, the guy's got 12 RBI.

It bothers me. Say it the way it's supposed to be said. RBI's.

SPEAKER_3 (3:40)

Right.

Craig Carton (3:41)

Yes.

Chris McMonigle (3:42)

Do you think the unhoused people would be offended if you call them homeless?

Craig Carton (3:45)

Well, first off, how would they know?
