Hey, those of you trying to get New York Knicks tickets, they put them back on sale with the appropriate pricing. So they acknowledged Snafu last week, and they've corrected it. So those of you that are looking to get single game tickets for the New York Knicks this year, I just want to give you a little heads up. Those tickets are up for sale now. It's a 12% increase across the board, off of last year's championship. So as expected, but not the crazy prices, like it's not a thousand bucks a ticket, but that did go live today. That's a quick note for you there.

A couple of other quickies for you, before we get back to your calls on the Giants. The New York Yankees, obviously last night, got eliminated from the Division on their home turf.

Pretty much a no-hitter. The offense was like, you know what, man, we don't feel like showing up today.

Chris McMonigle (0:47)

He has...

Craig Carton (0:48)

Only had five hits in the first game, by the way.

Chris McMonigle (0:50)

Rasmussen has just owned, outside of the one performance earlier this year where they scored like 12 runs off of him, his entire career he has owned the New York Yankees, and last night was no different.

Craig Carton (0:59)

Yeah, the rounds that... Look, they weren't going to win the Division, so it's just a matter of how it happened.

Chris McMonigle (1:04)

It's just the same to me, and I know, look, you never like to see a team celebrate on your field, and they won the Division last night.

Craig Carton (1:09)

It's happened a lot, though.

Chris McMonigle (1:10)

But it's more about losing in the playoffs. It was more of a random schedule thing that had happened against the Yankees. They beat the Yankees all year, they earned the Division, they won the Division.

I don't feel any worse about losing the Division if they did it in Baltimore, they did it last night in Yankee Stadium. Yeah, I mean we went in knowing it was going to happen. You lose a postseason series, they celebrate in your building. That's the problem.

Craig Carton (1:33)

Now you get your ducks in order, that's all. Tuesday, Wednesday, maybe Thursday.

Chris McMonigle (1:37)

That's kind of been out there today a little bit. Just to talk Yankees for a second.

The Yankees, Aaron Boone did tell Talking Yanks today that he will be working out and will be playing one of these games, Anthony Volpe at third base.

Craig Carton (1:52)

Oh, really?

Chris McMonigle (1:52)

So Anthony Volpe is going to be getting some work.

Craig Carton (1:53)

The sort of thought being, jazz comes back, he goes to second.

Chris McMonigle (1:55)

Jazz came back last night.

Craig Carton (1:56)

Volpe, hot bat maybe.

SPEAKER_3 (1:58)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (1:58)

You know, get a little lightning in a bottle at third base.

Chris McMonigle (2:00)

More than anything of that.

Craig Carton (2:02)

Ryan Mc...

SPEAKER_3 (2:02)

Even with that arm, yeah.

Chris McMonigle (2:03)

Ryan McMahon can't play anymore.

SPEAKER_3 (2:05)

You bring him into the eight to nine for the glove or no?

Chris McMonigle (2:07)

Even the glove, last night he makes a misplay on a ball he has to make. Like, he's not that good defensively right now and he is an absolute zero. They need to figure out who they're going to play at third base, whether it's Caballero, they'll give a chance to Volpe.

Craig Carton (2:19)

Could jazz play third or no?

Chris McMonigle (2:20)

Could, but he was so unhappy about it the last time. When he first got traded to the Yankees in 24, he did it happily. He went to third base and it worked out for the most part. They went to the World Series.

The beginning of the next year, he was just miserable there. So I doubt they'd do that again. But if they have to, they will, because Ryan McMahon cannot play.

SPEAKER_3 (2:39)

What's best for the team?

Craig Carton (2:41)

And I guess what's best for the team if he's going to be miserable?

Chris McMonigle (2:44)

I don't even want him on the playoff roster.

Craig Carton (2:46)

Oh, you're there now.

Chris McMonigle (2:47)

I'm there with Ryan McMahon.

SPEAKER_3 (2:48)

I'm not going to trust him to pitch hit late either.

Chris McMonigle (2:50)

No, exactly. And honestly, if Jean-Carlos Stanton was running, right? We saw Jean-Carlos Stanton running in the outfield. If there is a chance, ice cold, off of doing absolutely nothing, that he could come off the bench for an at bat late in the game, I would put him on the roster over Ryan McMahon just for the hope that that possibility could be there.
