The market is basically begging you to believe. Oh, this is the week. I'm not doing that.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's The Spread Zone. It's Wednesday, September the 30th, 2026 We're recording at noon central. Man, we got a loaded show. Anthony Stalter is with me, Tim McKernon on assignment. College football week five, NFL week four. Where is Tim?
Anthony Stalter (1:25)
I think Tim is probably doing some research on the injuries right now in the NFL. I think that he's probably in Chicago right now, Rizz, figuring out whether or not Caleb Williams is going to be good to go and whether or not he should play after that unbelievable performance by Kay Skeenam on Monday night.
Rizzuto (1:43)
Maybe trying to figure out what the cowboy coaching was thinking.
Anthony Stalter (1:47)
With seven seconds left? Yeah. You might not want to boot that ball into the end zone and take seconds off the clock.
Rizzuto (1:55)
Do they not know what a squib kick is? I don't know.
Anthony Stalter (1:57)
It's bad, man.
Rizzuto (1:58)
I'm not a coach, so listen, I don't want to speak at a turn here, but you might want to kick that thing so some time runs off.
Anthony Stalter (2:06)
The Chiefs and the Bills, Rizz, would have been the perfect example of that. Thirteen seconds, five, six years ago, when the Bills found a way to lose a game in which they kicked off to the Chiefs, costing them a trip to the Super Bowl.
Rizzuto (2:23)
When I watch a game like the Cowboy Game last week, and I'm thinking about all the betters out there, we're going, what? What do I gotta do?
Anthony Stalter (2:31)
Yep.
Rizzuto (2:32)
What do I gotta do?
Anthony Stalter (2:33)
I mean, there's a lot. We should probably do a segment dedicated to the, like Scott Van Pelt does the worst beats of the week.
Rizzuto (2:41)
Oh my God.
Anthony Stalter (2:42)
The NC State game a couple of weeks ago where the kid took the sack in the end zone and fumbled.
Rizzuto (2:47)
Yeah. Well, listen, our goal as always is we're trying to make you money. So do you have the recap from our last week's picks?
Anthony Stalter (2:53)
I do. So while he's on assignment, Tim actually did send over our recap here. Yeah.
Rizzuto (3:01)
Tell everybody how good I did.
Anthony Stalter (3:02)
Okay. So we'll start off with Rizz. Rizz last week, two and four. Not great. Two and four on the week.
He is now six and 10 Yeah.
Rizzuto (3:13)
Okay.
Anthony Stalter (3:14)
On the season.
Rizzuto (3:14)
He was there early.
Anthony Stalter (3:16)
You missed a week. So you're still warming up.
Rizzuto (3:18)
Sure.
Anthony Stalter (3:18)
This is like a college football program that's probably going into his conference schedule right now.
Rizzuto (3:24)
Yeah.
Let me see. I pushed on Colorado Baylor, which was plus 10 USC, Oregon. USC plus three. That's an L. Ole Miss at Florida, plus three and a half. Florida wins 52 to 28 That's an L. NFL, Jets, Lions. Lions minus six and a half. Lions win 31 to 24 That's a cover.
$40, eight and a half versus Cardinals. Niners win 36 to 60 Not a cover. Nope. I'm sorry, 36 to 30 Seahawks commanders had Seahawks at minus seven. Seahawks lose. That's an L. And my lock was Bills minus seven versus Chargers. Bills win 24 to 16 That's a cover.
Anthony Stalter (4:04)
I don't know how they won that game, let alone covered, but that's a nice one for you. So one and on the locks, two and one on the season for your locks, Rizz. So I think we should focus on the fact that you're in 67% on those locks at two and one.
Rizzuto (4:18)
Oh, well, how'd you do?
Anthony Stalter (4:20)
I went six and one on the week.
Rizzuto (4:23)
Oh, damn, dude.
Anthony Stalter (4:24)
I had a good week. Yeah, I went four and o in college football.
